primo is by far my fave producer of all time

Posted by lenazi on Sep-18-2009 23:53:

jennifer lopez almost ruined this and choclair did a bootleg of the same beat...but this song used to make me do the funky chicken wing in a bottle service club i was pretending i could afford.

Posted by lenazi on Sep-18-2009 23:55:

i saw the nuts last month and they made me do the chicken wing again.

silly spics.

Posted by Vivid Boy on Sep-19-2009 00:01:

yeah i like that too, i was just trying to post something cheesy for bas.

i forgot to post this.

about 2 years ago i saw funkdoobie do a 2 hour set vs the roots and it was the jazziest bunch of fowl mouthed expletives that i have ever heard.

rap might suck today, but gotttdammm there used to be some real funk to it.

Im just afraid when the few good hip hop artists finally retire....hip hop is fucked

Posted by lenazi on Sep-19-2009 00:08:

name one good hip hop song in the last 5 years, but make a new thread as not to ruin this one.

i sure as fuck can't think of one...and i go to rap concerts and leave after 20 minutes all of the time
a milli a milli.

I'll give you a full album. Black Album jay-z

Posted by lenazi on Sep-19-2009 00:26:

jay z is the whitest rapper that isn't white on earth.

i'm disapointed son..i do not like jay z.

if i wanted to listen to rap from a guy that comes from a rich family i would stick to john lajoie. How can you rap about being a thug when you went to private school.

no.

look i know hes mainstream and alot of people especially on this site hate anything mainstream, but that album when i cracked it open for the first time, blew my mind. I was not expecting what came out of my speakers and I remember feeling like i uncovered a diamond in the rough, during an era when hip hop was going to shit. Everything since then has been rubbish from jay-z but you can't deny the man has lyrical talent.

Posted by lenazi on Sep-19-2009 00:37:

hey i respect him, he built an empire and i jammed out a little bit to the orphan annie song.

the thing is it is hard for me to accept a guy rapping about being harder than nou at a girl scout meeting when mommy and daddy bought him a corvette for his sweet 16.

Posted by lenazi on Sep-19-2009 00:38:

another example would be choclair if he was talking about how he is the hardest nigga from harlem...EVER.

Posted by Vivid Boy on Sep-19-2009 00:46:

lol true true.

i'm pretty sure this song is on my myspace page still.

jay z is a hustler and a business man and happens to be a great rapper. i haven't heard his newer stuff but one of my favorite hip hop songs is "nigga what nigga who" on the hard knock life album and every single song on his black album is sick. just because he hasn't been shot 5 times or whatever doesn't mean he can't be a good rapper lol

you can say the same for biggie smalls. he went to a fucking private school ffs and had a very loving and caring mom and he chose to be on the other side because he was fat and wanted to be cool lol but he was obviously very talented on top of it all.

Posted by lenazi on Sep-19-2009 01:46:

biggie went to private school?

i'm not hating on jay z, to the contrary i praise his ability to make bank and wish i had that drive. When it comes to his music though, if i know he didn't have a hard knock life, just knowing that makes me want to turn it off when he bullshits about it.

i know you won't understand, but hey point taken.

Posted by lenazi on Sep-19-2009 01:47:

also back up something for once, biggie was from the gutter. the only kobe he knew shot three pointers and even then he was dead before it happened.

Posted by Slylee on Sep-19-2009 01:50:

and i saw you talking about no good rap songs coming out in the last 5 years lol

have you listened to any g-unit albums or the game? awesome stuff, in lyrics and production.
