Flight ticket rates

Hey guys,

Really excited about TE, the only real festival ive been to has been India's very own Sunburn Goa (last 3 years have seen a&b cox gms shah gtr svd svr avb...)
Mostly, i should be there once my lazy ass friends get off their ass & start planning seriously! A flight ticket agent told me that flights (atleast from India) are expected to drop in the next 2 weeks, is that really the case across the world? Any particular reason for this? Any info would be appreciated!

i can't believe that there will be ASOT450 in NY with Armin & guests on the same date as Trance Energy in NL.

I love TE mainstage lineup, but at the same time I'm curious who will Armin bring for his ASOT450 parties.

TE lineup hands down will beat whoever armin decides to bring. it will definitely be a good lineup, but could not compare to TE.

I just read on the TE page in the News section that Sean Tyas will be the closing DJ on the Main stage.

i've been tracking my flight and for the life of me can't get the damned thing to come down under 600, add on the taxes and fees and mines comes to about almost 800! wtfffff

I've done all of my searching and I'm tracking on sidestep, i use kayak and all of the other ones too...

It's funny cheapoair advertise it for 424 RT with 380 in taxes and fees for a total of 804. The same flight is selling direct from carrier for 785.

Or you can stay in Amsterdam a few more days and fly to Poland for ASOT 450 on 4/9/2010....That's what I'm planning to do

i've been tracking the fuck out of this flight and it's not moving at all lol. i might just go orbitz and hope it drops and get the refund i don't know. on the plus side there's a lot of empty seats so maybe it'll come down?

what's going on with these fares?. Everything seems to be $800 & up for direct flights from tri-state area. They should move TE date back to March when fares are cheaper. I was planning to go again for TE, but this is going to become a very expensive trip

couldnt agree with you more..trance energy is a winter event! lotta people are feeling the same and close to backing out. i personally am not coming anymore. costs double this year as it did for me in 2008. just cant see spending $1500 for flight and hotel for 4 days. TE is definitely worth it but financially its just not a smart choice.

exactly!. and the rate conversion from US$-to-Euro is an absolute joke. So yeah, if you factor in the hotel/motel costs, food,drinks, transportation fees, etc.... it really is becoming $1500 or more.
