I apologize for wanting to read someones posts without having to sift through them constantly whoring themselves out.

That's why it's in my signature; it separates genuine content from promotion.

Some people actually want to know who Dave and I are working with these days, and what's happening with those songs, which is the only reason I said anything. But from now on if anyone wants to know anything specific about what we're working on, who we're working with or anything related to our music you can find out on our website.

macbeth m5 is a beassssst. looks like such a pain to program due to it's modular state but thats the fun part.

how much they go for? 10-15k?

let me know what you think homie, I think we can work together....musically.

Ha ha ha, That was so clever and funny. Did you come up with that yourself or did your mom help you? In all honesty though, as good as it is I think I like this version a little better. It's a variation on your amazing theme but has a better flow and is based on a true story.

It is a beast... not too hard to deal with though because it's semi modular, it's already hard wired but can be rerouted via patch cables. They originally went for about 5k. They're not in production but I hear that there's an M5x coming out soon.
Maybe someone here knows more about this?

it's been like this a long, long time. I wouldn't consider the community to be elitist. Simply, anti-capitalist. We don't want people to become successful by any means, legitimate, exploitative or otherwise. We, TranceAddict, as a community, believe in brotherhood, prosperity in tandem. What you perceive as jealousy, is, to us, a betrayal within our own family, rightly accompanied by antagonism. Paris Hilton grew up in a wealthy world, not by her own talents or achievements, but by the magical random of life, having placed her from fruition in a genealogy of riches. We all wish to be paris hilton, to share in the wealth of the achievements of others, but all we can afford is to regurgitate the shit that life has ingested into our unsuccessful lives.

wow dude, you really love yourself...

What a bunch of shit. Granted Dave Dresden was a bitch during his time here but this guy doesn't deserve any of the flack he's getting. Maybe he's a bit self-aggrandizing but who isn't? Disgraceful.

Aww. 303 is my favorite ever (you might be able to tell that by my love of the 303 haha). A Moog would definitely be amazing though, or a Jupiter 8.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with a Macbeth M5 =(

Time to wikipedia!

To be perfectly honest, you do the exact same thing just in a different form. You fucking hypocrite, the couple of times a year when there's a progressive house / sasha & digweed thread that you actually contribute in doesn't make up for the incessant bitching, moaning, and complaining you do. Most of the people you hate actually do contribute to certain aspects of the forums, you do nothing.

The only times I ever "do the exact same thing" is in retaliation or in response to someone who started it in the first place.

Retaliation?

I don't think nobody ever forced to you "retaliate" with *PLINK PLONK*. Somehow you think it's funny to go into every thread and post that even when the release/set/topic in question has nothing to do with minimal music.

circle-jerk

1. n.
a gathering of males performing mutual masturbation. (Partly jocular. Usually objectionable.) : There were twelve boys involved in a circle-jerk, and the principal caught them.
2. n.
a boring or time-wasting meeting. (From sense 1.) : That board meeting was the typical circle-jerk that it always is.
3. n. tranceaddict (Wholly factual. Unusually soft.) : The posting on tranceaddict has become a bit of a circle-jerk, Dad -- why are you naked?

Mikael, not music, but didn't Dave warn you about this place?

Also if you agree, which I'm sure you do, please remind Dave that Tracking Treasure down is horrible the next time you talk to him

Ha ha ha ha lol, yeah Dave warned me but I'm not going to let my ex post our arguments on here so I think I'll be ok.

I'll be sure to let him know how much you love TTD. I take it you don't like pop dance music or just that song in particular?

I'm new here so is it a total faux paux to talk about, share or admit to liking anything that's commercial or mainstream on TA?

...I'm not at all. Actually once the dust settles I'm hoping there will be some people that want to talk music production and gear because that's what I'm here for mostly.

Yes, that is a big no-no. TA is like the good old high school days were everyone had to dress, act and talk the same way, otherwise, you will be an outcast, like Dave... or hated on, like Dave, Deadmau5, Tiesto, Armin, Ferry, etc.

Posted by UWM on Nov-13-2009 16:53:

To be fair, when people here will own up to compromising their artistic integrity solely to produce music that is palatable for the masses, it often times results in a bit of backlash.

All of those names listed above would qualify.

Some people might be a little jaded vs commercial and mainstream, but I'd say if it's good it's good and people appreciate it anyway. Most of the time the jadedness (word?) is justified because of the massive amount of shit commercial and mainstream music out there

I can agree with your statement to some extent, but I also feel that some if not all of the above mentioned have at points in their careers made some amazing, even ground breaking music too.
