...you laugh (or pretend to laugh) when someone follows up a question with "Anyone? Bueller?"

...you can identify the source of more than three pop culture references in Robot Chicken, the Kill Bill movies, or the first season of Family Guy

...you point out that the original song that a new song has ripped off was actually a ripoff of an even older song

...you know the difference between microfilm and microfiche

...you ever owned, or wanted to own, a LaserDisc player

...you've made fun of someone by asking if they ate paint chips as a kid

...everything that used to be good for you now causes cancer, and everything that used to cause cancer is now good for you

...you once had to eat canned vegetables, because they didn't have frozen

...you've ever referred to a TV remote as a "converter" or a cell phone as a "car phone"

...when you remember riding in the red and yellow streetcars and the red subways on which the lights would always go out...

You know you're old when you remember a bag of chips and a bottle of coke costing 50 cents....then when you returned the empty bottle, you'd get your 10 cent deposit back.

Posted by DigiNut on Dec-26-2009 21:11:

...you have a box in your house stuffed full of adapters, power cords, and other "equipment"... and you have no idea what any of them are for.
