Another great back to back: CARL CRAIG vs RADIOSLAVE
CARL CRAIG
Carl Craig is a Detroit-based producer of techno music, and is considered to be one of the most important names in the Detroit second generation of techno producers and DJs. Craig is the most artful and the most willing to engage the rapidly growing shape of techno outside Detroit."
Part of what makes Craig's style so unique and separates him from much of the normal "Detroit Techno" sound, including current works, are his remixes of world beat and jazz songs. This has helped spark a new movement of electronic music.
Carl Craig has released many successful albums under a large number of aliases, such as BFC, Psyche, Paperclip People, 69, Designer Music and Innerzone Orchestra. Using one alias, Innerzone Orchestra, he released perhaps his best-known track "Bug in The Bassbin" in 1992, a track that many regard as being a key influence in the then evolving sound of drum and bass.
Carl Craig has also created his own record label called "Planet E", which apart from his own work, has released records by well known techno and house artists like Kevin Saunderson, Alton Miller and Moodymann.
Regarding the many positions he has held in the music industry (artist, producer, DJ, label boss, and more), Craig has said: "I have a bad habit of getting my hands dirty in every little thing, and I really do enjoy it
RADIOSLAVE
Matt Edwards is also known as Radio Slave, perhaps Matts most instantly recognisable nom de guerre, thanks in part to his inspirational melding of Kylies Cant Get You Out Of My Head to New Orders Blue Monday, this is Matts DJ moniker and the guise under which he completes his
As Radio Slave, Matt Edwards firstly with Serge Santiago and, for the last couple of years, on his own he transforms tracks into something else: fresh and exciting pieces of music that urge of you only one thing, the compulsion to dance.
His background as an early acid house convert and graphic designer meant that his aesthetical ethos was geared towards manipulating sound: playing with it, toying with it. As a DJ his music tastes range from electro to techno by way of house and broken beat. But its his love of disco re-edits, the likes of which mastered by such 70s stalwarts as Walter Gibbons and championed by Harvey, that gives him his edge.
Dit gaat een knaller van een editie worden!

MARKUS SCHULZ will join the new 'A State of Trance' area
If 2008 signaled the arrival of an emerging superstar, then 2009 has cemented the name Markus Schulz into the minds of electronic music fans across the world. Its far from an understatement to suggest that the German-born trance hero has impacted upon the music industry on a global level, with a weekly radio show that broadcasts worldwide, a tour to match and an iPhone app to boot, the Markus Schulz empire is stronger than ever.
Having taken possession of a top ten berth in the prestigious DJ Mag Top 100 poll for the second year in a row, 2010 couldnt be set up better for the Schulz show to continue its ascent, and with an artist album due in the summer who would bet against Markus mayhem sweeping the globe once again.
hoppakee!
P.S.: gisteren bekend gemaakt: MARCO REMUS
P.S.2: voorverkoop start zaterdag 10/04/2010

gisteren:
Mr. Poker Flat: STEVE BUG
Germany's very own taste-maker, trend-setter, mover-shaker-extraordinaire Steve Bug is a multi-faceted artist who refuses to back down from the limelight. A dedicated, energetic and constantly surprising talent, Steve is nothing less than an electronic music ambassador, a much-loved spokesman to the people, and for good reason.
'Growing Up' in Germany's techno and acid-house heyday, Steve Bug's love for a perfect groove is as apparent now as it was back then. From the very early days DJjing in Bremen and Hamburg it was clear there was a strong talent waiting to be nurtured. With a bit of encouragement from Superstition's Tobias Lampe, Steve's very first productions were released in 1993 and his musical story began. Besides this his DJ skills and keen, innovative, ear led him not down the typical path of the early nineties trance and harder dance scene, but towards a fresher, hybrid sound merging stripped deep house, tweaked out acid and more minimal forms of techno.

No name today: but a huge one Tomorrow
No name today, just a post were going to announce a huge name Tomorrow! A small tip: One of the hottest dance acts in the world, never played before in Belgium... Oh yes, we are so excited about this!!!

niet direct een idee wie dat kan zijn...
Deadmau5: al in Belgi geweest
Daft Punk: al op Pukkelpop geweest
mss Lady Gaga of Dash Berlin ![]()

Bits and pieces: 16 BIT LOLITAS
Ariaan (the dj and producer whos been most inspired by his pianist dad) and Peter (the multi instrumentalist and songwriter producer) came together as the 16 BIT LOLITAS in 2003.
As you would expect from such ability it didnt take long until their early music found homegrown support via releases on Extrema and Cyber as well as remixes of Sander Kleinenbergs My Lexicon and the into international territories with support from Shinichi/Yoshitoshi and Cr2.
Musically they sit like a polished stone between back in the day backroom house with its warm but edgy basslines and brand new big room tunes that give the crowd that tingling hands in the air feel that they so desire. Ariaans dj stets consisting almost exclusively of their own productions, he stands out from the rest of the worlds record changers, by delivering a sound and a set all his own.
They now run their own highly successful label, Bits and pieces, dedicated to releasing some of the tracks youll hear out at their shows as well any up and coming artist they come across in their travels.
Kging het ook net posten. Hrlijk
Nice!!!
I like.
Integrating music and video: SANDER KLEINENBERG
Superstar Dutch DJ and producer Sander Kleinenberg has built his international reputation on an ability to create different atmospheres, for myriad crowds, at venues all over the world.
Kleinenberg is not only an artist who declines to stick to a single, easily defined sound, he also utilizes more than one medium to create a night out. Long at the forefront of integrating video imagery and other visuals in his VDJ sets.
Integrating music and images single-handedly requires sharpened skills and on-the-fly invention. "Now, in the process of DJing, I am in control of another dimensions. The thought processes are not just about music; there is a visual element as well." Which allows his to shape his identity, and stimulate crowds, in a host of fresh ways. "This is a whole new way of looking at what you do creatively. In the end, that is very challenging. It makes you more versatile as well. I love keeping on my toes."
Bweeuurk. Ik denk dat ik gewoon twee dagen naar de Q-Dance ga.
