thats bummer about CL, but I will catch him at the AM only party.

Either way looking very much forward to Ultra, plenty of great artist still and since I got the early bird tickets well worth IMO. I think this being my first time at Ultra/WMC I picked a great year to go IMO. Out of all the parties I am going to I have only heard 4 artist in person, so I am in for a treat I believe.

Problem is that they're pairing up the artists at AM Only, so it's not like we're gonnna get to hear a pure CL set. Damn Ultra.

I heard they have at least 9 more names to announce, so, there will be a phase 3, but phase 2 has always been the biggest announcement.

Still hoping for something cool like Hybrid Live (new album in March) and maybe Junkie XL, or Justice. I mean, none of those names will be announced, but I would like to see something cool for phase 3...Hybrid would be great cus that 'pretend' breaks arena (really just electro) needs some serious help. Only excited about Stanton Warriors. Plump DJ's would have been sweet years ago, but not today.

9 more names as in headliners? interesting. I mean seems like there isnt much room left but who knows.

and usually phase 3 if there is one is first week of march i think.

Does anyone know if and when the one day tickets go for sale how much they will cost? I'm trying to look online for last year prices but having no luck finding the answer.

$90 before fees $118 after fees for Friday
$100 before fees $130 after fees for Saturday

if you notice though both days was 130. this years its 140. so maybe individual will be a little more expensive than last too.

yep. thats exactly why i bought the early bird tix. if i hadnt i wouldnt of even bothered with ultra. paid around 140 or so for both days.

I wasn't sure I would do Ultra at all, but I decided I shouldn't go to Ferry @ Karu & Y (so I can wake up Sunday somewhat resteded), which means I'm Saturday-less. Saturday's line-up looks like the perfect filler.

What time does Ultra go on till?

Hey guys,

First timer at the WMC this year, flying over from England. Easy question really, what time does Ultra go on till on Friday & Saturday?

I'm looking at my options of where to hit after!

Ultra has been 4-12 on Friday and Noon-12 on Saturday the last few years, hope that helps!

Just checked on the website and those ARE the times for the festival

can't remember from two years ago, but i know when you got searched to get into Ultra they wouldn't let cameras in...anyone last year have problems with IPhones or similar?

yea they dont allow cameras, but they sell disposable ones! LOL.....its not hard to hide one if u want to tho......Iphones they will allow tho

i know...bastards tryin to make every dime they can. i always managed to sneak my camera in with no problems...just gotta hide it well.
its much easier being a girl cuz you can bring a purse and stash all kinds of stuff

sneak it in your shoe and walk on your toes and cover your shoes by sagging some. Once you are inside you are fine. I usually take it out right after the gate to piss them off lol.

what do you really expect from a mainstream festival? they gotta keep it fairly general and with mass appeal.
i'm impressed they managed to get Faithless in the states just to do a festival for an hour...they're not doing anything else in the US before or after this...that alone is worth the $140 to me, but to each their own..

You mean 190+ after fees and shipping?

Man, the first 2 years I went to Ultra ( 2000- 2001 )I brought my back bag with 2 bottles of Water, food, a pair of glow-sticks and a disposable camera. Didn't even get crap for it. I remember some Soda company would give away free soda and the orange cart would go around giving away free oranges. I would walk out of Ultra loaded with all kinds of freebies. Treasured memories.

how the fuck are you putting your camera in your shoe???

i actually need to figure out where im gonna stash mine. kinda nervous about getting it past security actually. having a camera is a must for me. i was thinking about putting the strap through my belt and letting the camera hang inside my boxers but i hope they dont feel it when they pat me down and think its a gun or knife or some stupid shit. i figure if anything i'll just slip the person a $10 and hopefully they'll let me in with it.

Is this a new policy about not being allowed to bring cameras? I remembered last year I just had my camera and phone in my hands as they patted me down.
