Both nights were fun. Line around the block to get in was crazy. The vibe was bananas. Roseland definitely did not feel as hot as muggy as when Armin was there last year. Security seemed inconsistent (in terms of knowledge) What up with the flooded bathrooms on Sat night?

Saturday's lineup was the best. Giuseppe was epic .. made me cry.

Great music, fun people, lasting memories.

Click here for pics I took ...

I'm ready for 500 !!!

the bathrooms at roseland are always one big MESS

Posted by Neonbeats on Apr-07-2010 03:23:

Yeah for like 30min in the middle of Armin's set they had the entire downstairs bathrooms closes off and were sending everyone upstairs. Upstairs turned into a zoo so I just ran outside and pissed in an alley and ran back

It's fun, but there's a big downside unfortunately (between me and you, the TA family)... I can't really go to any events anymore and have fun, always got someone taking pictures and wanting to talk production or pitch me their business plan. I don't know how the bigger guys do it (maybe they don't, which is why we rarely see them around after or before their gigs in the general admission area, which is a shame)...

Luckily, I was hanging in the side bar to the left of the stage where all the friendly Trance Addict people were and my friends were hanging out. It was a completely different crowd, and in no way do I mind hanging out with all of you fine TA people, I enjoy it. Other people just have no qualms or second-thoughts about literally ripping me away from my friends or my girlfriends to talk for 10, sometimes 15 minutes. It comes with the territory I guess!! Took me no less than 25 minutes to walk to the exit from the side-bar on Saturday haha...

I do love seeing the Love regulars and Trance Addicts though, you're all very

nice and usually somewhat coherent, and keep me grounded. I like the type of person that can tell me that my set at Love wasn't as good as last time, or chill out and have a drank!! I'm not the type of person that enjoys "fame", I guess...

dude, I was one of those (hopefully somewhat coherent) ppl that bumped into u. Even tho I chatted with u online several times here and on di, I still felt a bit starstruck talking to u... It's just pretty facinating to get an opportunity like the one you have and I really hoped to be able to pick your brain on what has worked for you. As cheesy as it sounds, I really did feel humbled by both your performance and persona. Congrats Marcello, it's something you can certainly be proud of and not be so shy.

I've been listening to Armin since '98 and back when no one knew who Armin was - I said that dude will be nmero UNO. I started messing with synths because of Armin and to This day still have an email he personally replied to, responding to a production question I asked. For me, playing ASOT would be the ultimate honor and acknowledgement. From that standpoint, I envy you - as this is a dream so many of us, aspiring producers and bedroom djs won't ever experience. Soak it in, you deserve it... The only question for me at this point would be "what's next"?

Hope that someday someone higher up would open the door for me to an opportunity like the one you had.

Yeah I remember .. I don't mind chatting for a little and taking pictures (hope my comment doesn't get posted all over the internet and I seem unappreciative) haha...

I don't mind it at all, but sometimes some people take it too far (like demanding for my cell number "so we can smoke a joint sometime" and not taking no for an answer) haha...

It's all good! Def not the biggest thing in my life to worry about, just a tiny thing I'm venting about on Trance Addict since I know you guys all well... Sadly enough, I don't really post anywhere else anymore (and can't)

And of course, thanks for the kind words man It was a shocker to be part of this as you could imagine. I'm 23 now, been fucking around with producing for about 8 years now and never in a million years thought music could get me flown overseas or put me in front of 6000 screaming people in my hometown. It's an overwhelming feeling.

I am very humble still, because I still go to work 5 days a week and night classes 4 days a week. I can only hope I stay that way even when things get better.

We'll see where this music takes me!

I mean the phrase 'good move' shouldn't really be said. As if he would do anything other than cancel it? c'mon..

My condolences.. I know a few TA's are Polish

Is it really necessary to make an argument out of this?

My friend was stuck in Poland. No delays getting in but they weren't letting anyone leave until today. Hopefully they are honoring refunds for those who flew in for the event.
