a vinyl cutter... check out www.htfr.co.uk or .com (hard to find records). they had a vinyl cutter. i think they were around 4000-5000 pounds.

Theres a good studio near me that goldenarmZ was tellin me about... they hire it out, maybees have a look? good idea...

but how does one run a label without a studio?
well lemme rephrase that..
we need stuff mastered, sampled, etc wuteva rite

over here in the toronto i have a buddy that can hook me up with a studio for free (for all the samplin' and mastering and shit) the studio is @ edge 102. i'll have ta ask him real nicely though. oh since while i'm at it...

i think a label would be a good idea

its gonna take a few people who are really into the idea to pull it off

maybe some donations from all the tas (1$ - 100000$) if u got it ..

i would be able to help on the website,graphics,promoting

i know LOTS of peolple online who listen to trance, along with a few friends .. my boy has some tables at home and has lots of knowledge and talent .. ill get him to make a mix cd when hes ready and ill send it to tuface or infinity

im gonna start spinnin soon .. i know i have talent in that field too

with the whole trust thingy with the member donations yadiyada, one of you could set up a bank account and then we send cheques to the account and money will build up. Not only cheques but transfer money via the internet to the bank account and there's the donations settled.

New tune on the way..

Well, i'm currently working on a new tune for the TA label project, but with my working speed i guess it can be quite some time til it's finished. Just writing this since i've lost my internet connection and i don't know how long it will be until the next time i can log on here.. K TA's I have an office in Victoria B.C. and I just read this whole post. I am currently running a business and there are a lot of admin/finance/marketing etc. aspects to starting up a record label. I will be taking e-business in the near future at university and I am currently studying business. Before you all start making donations you might want to think of investment instead. I would love to handle Canadian operations if this is going to be a serious thing. I know a lot about the business aspects of stuff and if this does take off it could be big it's just all up to us to make it happen.

I don't wanna get carried away here.. but I was just getting to think that when and if this TA label goes through and becomes a big hit in the WORLD in about 4-5 years, people will wonder how this massive label came up...

I can handle technical operations (graduate next week with a BSc Computer Science - doing 4th yr now) & I can also handle the African operations from South Africa.
