My dad actually used to LARP some, though he swears it was just about Renaissance Faire attire and copious amounts of ale. And the women, but I don't like to think about that.

One night they had some whole game chickens going over a spit and he ate an underdone one followed by lots of beer. What ensued was a sickening drive home where he was forced to stop in a random parking lot and violently puke before eventually passing out halfway out of his car.

When he awoke the next morning, he was in a Church parking lot, covered in his own vomit, dressed as some sort of squire, while people in their Sunday's best sauntered by him with judgment in their eyes.
