the crowd was definitely into it. i think everyone thought the "#1 dj in the world" was in town last night and everyone was going nuts. my one question, where did all the younger people learn of tiesto? it seemed unnormally young at the show last night? did tiesto's cross into indie attract a new crowd?

not the best show of his i have seen, but still good. the crowd level helped ease the pain that tiesto only plays house and progressive now.

kaskade next. a very underrated dj in my opinion who always throws a great party

Tiesto has been attracting young naive candy-kids for years and years, dunno how that's news to anyone. Also, I'm sure his cross-over into... "indie" had no effect on drawing any type of new audience.

Did you just ask why there was there was a younger demographic there? Is this your first Tiesto show? The rest of your post implies no, you've seen him before. But asking that kind of question implies it is. So I'm confused. I wasn't there Monday...so I'm not sure how young this crowd supposedly was...but I've seen Tiesto a million times, and everytime it's been full of high school kids. Hell, even I was a high school kid at a couple of his shows way back when. And this was advertised 21+, not 18+ like the majority of his other ATL shows -- so I'm going to assume very few high school kids were able to get in (if any). Meaning there's no way this crowd could have been that unusually young.

thanks. i've seen him the past 3 times in atlanta, but i have also seen him a few times overseas. i guess i didn't realize it was an 18+ show until i got there. i guess i didn't think tiesto's name was still that popular. i would expect a lot of younger people to shows like david guetta since he is on the radio all the time.

Nah. Tiesto still has a lot of "street cred" for some reason. He and Armin and Deadmau5 are going to get a lot of young people to show up looking for a "rave" like event. Which is funny considering how far Tiesto and Deadmau5's music are from being "rave" worthy.
