Transexual?
First couple of years of high school were pretty good... then shit hit the fan.
My father died, my grandfather died (more of a father than my real one), my mother got married to an abusive douche, and my long-term relationship was going down the tubes. I got seriously depressed and did terribly in school. Eventually, at 17 (grade 11), I moved out and got my own apartment, started doing drugs and ended my 3 year relationship. I partied hard for a year or so, squeaked by in school (and started to take night/weekend/summer classes since working full-time wasn't conducive to regular school). Then I just focused on full-time work and slowly improving my life.
Prior to all of that, high school was amazing. I was popular, partied a lot, had a great BF, did excellent in school, and overall just enjoyed life.
I don't miss high school at all... especially the last half of it. It was probably one of the hardest times in my life. I am happy I turned my life around, went to and graduated college, and now go to University, half-way across the country with the love of my life.
The people I went to high school with... most of them ended up being useless. Still partying every night, having kids and getting fat really early etc. There are a few, many of which were the "losers" or "uncool kids" who have done a lot with their lives. One travels the world and works as a marine biologist, another is a scientist in Europe, a couple are teachers, etc.
Not sure if I will go to my 10 year reunion... I don't have any interest in being reunited with a lot of those people. I am happy to move on and leave that in my past.

Where do i begin geeeez...
1st off i had alot of expections to live up to cause when i was frosh my sis just graduated and she was loved by all the teachers and staff. NHS, captain of cheerleading, etc. she did it all
I mean i had some great times but at the same time i realy didn't have any bad times....
drove a bad ass 1991 Silver Mustang..Mustang was the offical Me Too car of the late 90s
I played football all 4 years and did track 3 years...
i wore everything from Guess!, Hilfiger, DKNY to Quicksilver, Boss, Aero. I wore my Slayer shirts proudly and wore a Slayer shirt that day after Kurt Cobain kill himself. Was the only guy from the time i was frosh to my senior year that was a GB packers fan and Red Wings fan.
I was the guy in HS who was friends with all cliques and social circles: jocks, wiggers, geeks, preps, burn outs. But by my senior i realized how pathetic my class was...so i was seen hangin out wit less n less of em.
My senior year, i was the one who had all the partys. Every weekend there was always something goin on at my house. Booze, broads, beats was basically what partys consisted of. There was maybe all but 20 other seniors at my partys mainly the jocks and 90210 wannaB sluts. Everyone one else were frosh, sophs or juniors. It didn't bother me because most of em were cooler then my senior class and the soph and frosh girls were dumber
I also became friends with alot of people from other high schools so i was also seen at alot of other partys in other towns.
One of my memories was my senior prom cause the biggest mystery was who was i goin to bring the prom and i kinda shockd the shit out of my class when i brough this girl from a few towns over.
Lookng back with the exception of a few, i hated my senior class. We were probably the most bring senior class in the history of that HS.
i didn't even attend the 10 year reunion
I was known as the blow job queen.
I <3'd my 10 year reunion.
I was one of the few still slim and hot with a great career.
During grade 9, I would show up til lunch, then spend the rest of the day playing video games at the local Microplay. After grade 9, I was rarely actually AT my High School. If I showed up, it was for the last 2 classes of the day, or to hand in an assignment or write a test. On the rare days I showed up for a full day of High School, I was sleeping at my desk or reading my textbook for the 20th time that year.
I remember one of my teachers woke me up, gave me 2 bucks and told me to go get a coke so I'd stop sleeping in his class, I never slept in his class after that because I earned some respect for him for taking that course of action rather than just yelling at me. He also shared the same last name as me, and we played it off like he was my uncle, and all the students believed us.
Another teacher let me sleep in her class, and would joke with me when I was awake. She seemed to be impressed that even though I didn't do an ounce of homework and was rarely awake in class, I would still regularly ace her tests and assignments. Including 100% on an essay based entirely on a 5-minute discussion that I happened to be awake for in class, placing the blame for the evil committed in Hamlet (in a nutshell, it was everyone's fault based on a chain-reaction of events).
Most teachers gave up on me 2 weeks into the semester and let me do what I wanted, but one in particular spent the entire semester trying to 'get me'. She would wake me up during class to answer some question she thought would have me stumped, but the problem is that I'm not a fucking moron like rest of my class, and I would give her the answer she was looking for every time, she deducted a phantom 5% off my final mark just to screw me out of getting the high mark in her class, bitch.
Mostly I was just always stoned and would rather be at home playing video games. I didn't like the people at my school, the few kids I did like I didn't like enough to give a damn about hanging out with them outside of school. I only went because I was forced to go til I was 16, and I still need 5 credits that I will probably never get because I plan on learning a trade through an apprenticeship program.
I actually went back 2 years ago to finish my 5 credits online. When I asked for my transcript the guidance counselor asked what I needed it for and when she learned I wanted to pick up a trade, she told me not to bother and just go to school as a mature student. I asked her what I needed to qualify as a mature student, she responded "You need to be 19 and out of school for a year." To which I responded "Then why the fuck did I waste my time coming here?" She just laughed and apologized that they aren't allowed to tell their students they can just apply as mature students for trades if that's the path they're taking.
Fuck I hate school.
Wow, lucky that your school didn't count homework as a majority of your grade.
I'd ace tests all the time, sleeping in class, not paying attention... shit was easy. I never did fucking homework though. I'd do big shit like reports and stuff, but day to day homework I didn't do at all. It was fucking pointless cause I knew the shit.
But for some reason most schools in the US count HW as a majority of your grade, not your test scores.

Actually I would go so far as to say that the single greatest thing this country could do for its students and children is switch to a Japanese or European model with an emphasis on testing. Introduce public schools that require testing to get into, etc and start it young, like having to test into middle school.
Its fucking BS that children are reworded and advanced on their capability to do busy work and not on their ability to retain knowledge.
Many studies have shown that humans retain more knowledge when not tested, or even not graded at all. Intrinsically motivated learning is much more effective than extrinsic.

High school was so awesome i got kicked out for being too cool.
The only PROBLEM i had in High school was when i slept with this Australian guys girlfriend...or ex girlfriend, i forget the details....but he found out...he was mighty pissed.
The following 4 weeks would be me evading him and his posse, as much as i could at least (i had pink hair, it was pretty easy to pick me out of a crowed).
One day I called in sick, and it was a good thing, cause him and his posse had a few friends from outside of school, and a video camera...and they were looking for me at lunch.
I was pretty pleased with myself that all that happened to me in those few weeks (of terror) was getting pushed into a vending machine.
Other than that, it was just gym class, beer, women, and hanging out in the cafeteria.
edit:
JUST LOOK HOW FUCKING COOL I WAS!!!

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? SITTING ON A CHAIR...ON TOP OF A TABLE IN THE CAFETERIA?!
FUCK BRAD MORRIS...YOU ARE TOO COOL FOR SCHOOOOOOL!
The best part was that homework was rarely ever graded and used to determine that part of your grade, it just mattered if you had turned it in completed or not...
My year 13 physics teacher thought I was going to fail but I got one of the highest marks on the final. And I was only in year 12. I felt rather smug about that after mucking around in his class all year. Also he wore the exact same clothes every single day, which were tiny shorts, including during winter.
I locked the boys' toilet stalls from the outside one time riiight before lunch was over and made about 20 guys late for class and one of them was so pissed he kicked the stall door down. Never got caught for that.
We used to hang outside the music room and have food fights, which involved flinging pieces of fruit through the high up louvre windows. I still crack up thinking about a piece of mandarin flying down someone's tuba-hole.
