He is reviewing the music, since you go there for the music and you are in this forum for music and the name it is tranceaddict ironically enough..If he reviews from fucking moon mater less.He is reviewing what he is listening. If there is shit music playing than the party sucks.Truth= is part of series of realities.

Apparently you can not READ English either, as I said he is certainly entitled to his opinion, but we have separate party threads and music opinion threads for a reason. Its annoying to come in here and read 9 posts in a "PARTY" review of a guy who has never been to the party, not to mention pics from previous years.....doesnt make sense. I am simply pointing out that time and place for things in which to keep comments in a place where people would go to typically read them.

PARTY threads are for pics and comments of the vibe, music, set-up, organization, fun moments to be shared, etc....Music opinion forum and threads are just for that.

Plus, we have to sift through a page of shit (and now even more shit, as we have people who cant even attempt the English language before hitting "submit reply"). You fail miserably at a simple paragraph, so I choose not to waste my time reading and re-reading your attempts at any sort of intelligent commenting

Anywho, I made my point, on to the reviews of people who were there, please, thanks This thread has enough trash in it to continue on with this convo. My review coming shortly, as I was actually there

I think it's A&B - Formula Rossa. It's not yet released but they have been playing it out for awhile.

Riveting tale chap. Your point is taken in consideration because of wiggra intellectual checkmate[over 9000 level of retardation], and attempts to become grammar nazi [thus failing at winning or winning at failing] and not realizing that even mirrors are failing you on it, where it= everything: :

You throwing you argument is invalid because I was there.Lol dong
Sorry braw but I was there to. Secondarily again we speaking about music not you and how you felt there, this is a specific forums for trance music and again because you have such falwed logic the concert is about music, and he is reviewing the music played there. He can review it from moon would not matter as long as he listen to it. I don't read your post because they full with flawed logic and you keep insisting in order to review the music played there you have be there, but from other side you say everyone is entitled to his opinion, which contradict itself and is fucktarded we reviewing the music again playing in the concert.
Butthurt saga continues, but facts will remain.

Wow, Day 2 was TOTALLY different vibe from day 1. First, there was a HUGE clusterfuck of people in comparison. I was expecting more, but it was a LOT more. The first day there were no lines, the bathrooms didnt get so nasty, etc. Friday was the perfect amount of people: packed tents, with no lines anywhere.

Saturday and Sunday was a bit much in terms of people, eeek! The food tents ran out of food everywhere (sometimes before nighfall), the lines were massive, the tents were 20+ people back because no one else could fit in them. There were several times in which I could barely hear the music because we couldnt squeeze in a tent. We had to hear the collective beats of 2 other tents/the mainstage, which was a little annoying to say the least. Also, when you are outside of a tent, the sound is not clear and very low.

That being said, the overcrowding was the only negative, as the music was awesome (once you got close enough to hear it!)

Got there on Saturday to walk into Satellite being played at the Hilltop. Next thing you know, Tyas and Patterson come up to the decks: nice timing on my part. I love these boys: they rip it every time and have a great crowd. And of course us NY'ers are very partial to our boy Tyas <3 <3 Love him!

Went on to Sander Van Doorn and he was absolutely murdering the crowd with bombs. I love this style: trance, but BANGING. No fluff here. He is really great with the crowd, too, as they were eating it up. One of the best sets of the day for me.

Would have liked to stay for Diggers, but no way was I missing Luciano. Let me say, I have only seen Luciano a couple times, but he just brings it HARD and is really into interacting with the crowd. Never been disappointed with him: I want more!!

Above and Beyond were pretty damn awesome. I didnt recognize some of their new songs, but the crowd was eating it up, and the vibe alone made being front-and-center worth it. The crowd and vibe was NUTS, and we were all jumping up and down like madmen Soo much fun to listen to them. Side note: who was the girl brought up on stage??

Reboot: Killer. BOMBS being dropped. Never seen Reboot before, will see them again.

Saw a bit of Dirty South, he had the crowd by the tits, woowwww. Was a ton of fun just to see the vibe, maybe one of the best vibes of the whole day.

Ferry <3 <3 <3 <3 You know thats mah boo! He came out with a few of his new tracks, then for 30-40 minutes dropped it HARD, just like I like it. Those first 40 I was going nuts with friends and was about to die after 10 hours of dancing. Thankfully, He threw in a few trance-in-yo-pants-ol skool tracks at the end and had the crowd eating out of his hands.I was greatful for the mini-break and just put my hands in the sky for a breather LOL. The vibe in that tent was one of the best I saw all weekend at a trance DJ's..... Spoke to him for a few after, he is just a fantastic guy and DJ, what can I say, you all know I love him

Yankeebaby, pretty sure that was guettas daughter and his son that went on stage with above and beyond. They were in the hilltop tent with him when he was watching skrillex. Kind of funny that a and b gives them stage time but their dad doesn't!

It was the first time I got to hear tranquility bass - buzz live and OMG IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!

I fucking LOVE that kinda trance..... felt amazing to hear it live after being surrounded by SHM the whole day.

If you did not go, than you really cant say shit on how it was.... I had a great time, only went days 2 and 3. Got there around 1:30, and was surprised how packed it was. Arty did a good job, had the tent packed out as soon as he got on. Went to see Ida Engberg, really enjoy her sound. Bounced around a bunch throughout the day. Dubfire really impressed me, along with Chris Liebing. Tried to catch a little bit of everyone. Armin threw down a different set than I am use to from him, but the production was great. Was not sure why so many people left after Afrojack. At least it kept all of the neon ravers away, can only handle so much of them. Dont think I saw any TAs other than Seb there?

EZ 2009: Encore: 24. Jochen Miller vs. Armin van Buuren feat. Sharon den Adel - In & Out Of Connection (Armin van Buuren Mashup)

EZ 2010: 21. Cirez D vs. Armin van Buuren feat. Sharon den Adel- On Off Of Love (Armin van Buuren Mashup)

EZ 2011: 22. Armin van Buuren feat. Sharon Den Adel - In and Out of Love vs John O Callaghan - Raw Deal

I agree, I was there in 2009-2011. He need to switch it up or somebody to step it up or I think next line up will suck as will.

Not if it's recorded and streamed an played
Than you not entitled to say anything about any DJ unless you hear it live right where he is playing, all his sets all the time which is impossible. You are reviewing it on based what you hearing not based if you there or not. You can be there and just hear people, noises, not able to catch a dj playing, and so on ..Does that entitle you to give reviews more than the guy that listen streamed to all djs or on radio? That's fucking retarded, you listening both to music in end.

^^ You're the man. I've been waiting for this. Dl'n Zack's set now. I wish some better people got recorded though.

Posted by EliPsE on Sep-05-2011 21:33:

All of you stfu already. Being at a party is about the atmosphere and vibe. That includes everything as well as the music.

This thread

Made it for the last half of Liebing. His tunes are always choice, I've seen him a little more into before but still really enjoyed it. It must be weird for him to play in the day time.

Gui Boratto. Considerably different kind of energy from Liebing so the scheduling was a little odd. Not his fault though obviously. As far as his music, really a genius of a producer. Every track was a real enjoyment to experience live, dancing with my friends. His mixing could of had better flow but I wasn't judging him as a DJ, just a brilliant musician.

Dubfire was great. He's really getting more consistent last couple of times I've seen him.

Caught the beginning of Afrojack since some of my friends wanted to go. Got right up in the middle of the mainstage and ran for the back after 15minutes. Tons of people there were going nuts but I think they're all crazy. Such horrible and cheap 'music'. To each their own I guess but I have no idea how he has such a large following.

Only down side was the amount of $$ I've spent on alcohol this weekend.
And I did a number on my ankle walking back to Astoria each night. Cabs wanted $60 going out for what was a $15 ride coming in, and that's with the toll. Would have been nice if there was some official way to get east of Randall's Island.

It was a great weekend. It's impossible to please everybody but with all the friends of mine I ran into with interests from electro to trance and techno, everyone was always having a great time.

Actually, I went to 2 previous EZs, so, seeing line up I knew what to expect. And picture of Tom Middleton was a FUCKING joke, to point out his resemblance to Larry the Cable guy. Sheeeeeeeeessshhhh... Supposedly you read/speak english, right? Also, speaking of parties - I actually bumped into you at PvD @ Governor's island. You probably don't remember - you and I chatted for few mins, you pointed out Melly to me. Whatever LOL moving on

Point well taken. However, had I been there - my opinion most likely would have not been much different. But I see what you mean, mea culpa?

Shit is shit - to me, SHM sound is shit and nearly everyone played it. Your cup of tea - great, sip on it. Why not accept some different perspective and manage to not agree with it without so much fucking dramma? It's this type of elitist BS that's killing any chance for conversation and this forum. What happened to PLUR and shit? No wonder it's emptying out. Whatever, you may resume your cute tantrums... now.

Not elitist. I said several times that you have a right to your opinion and that I enjoy conversation. I merely pointed out that a party thread is a party thread and your opinions and/or pics of years past are appreciated in a different SPOT, not that they are not appreciated AT ALL. There is a difference.

And yes, SHM has taken over the world, I will agree with you there! I never disagreed with what you said, I simply stated that a thread-starter ought to be someone who was actually there, as the purpose of a party review is to describe the experience as a whole. Peeps getting all defensive just cuz I didnt wanna see 9 posts/1 entire page from a reviewer who wasnt even there. You dont see me writing pages on ASOT 500 or Ferry Live in Los Angeles. You said I made a good point, so drop it Kthx

Posted by AdagioforString on Sep-05-2011 21:41:

Than everyone should go back attend a hip hop music party just because of the noise and vibe and stop listening to trance and go back to hip hop. Obvious newfags are obvious despite they try to hard like the failzor above me.
You go in a specific concert for specific reason DJ's and Selected music they play. The vibe and people comes with music, without music woud be no people there in first place.
