Just sayin...tits are nice, but I prefer beauty.

I'm not sure this is fair: once you agree with that, what keeps you from saying ludicrous statements such as "rape victims were asking for it"?

This thread turned from sexy to analytic and goes straight in a Lira-direction.

(not that there's anything wrong with that. But we must agree this thread needs more sexy pix.)

I think that's a little harsh - in everyday life, you don't deserve to be berated by strangers for how you look or dress. In the gif, she could be any girl just having fun in a skimpy dress.

Now having said that, this isn't exactly a innocent case.

She's clearly putting herself out there for publicity, showing staged bikini pics on a public FB profile, posting pics of her dj'ing with her milk mounds pushed as high as possible, and making sure she's getting filmed with her mams bouncing around.

Frankly, it's fair game at that point and if she doesn't take the heat that come along with that shameless personal self promotion, she should better stop putting it out there.

She may well have found a way to profit from all the attention she's getting, but there's a different between getting attention thanks to your image/work and being harassed like this:

I can't even get 1 girl to storm my house. And this guy needs the Brazilian national guard to protect him.

I kind of disagree with this. Let me preface this response with the fact that I meet and work with a lot of high profile people in the entertainment industry.

IMO, the fact that these people make 1000 times more in a couple of years, than the average person will make in their entire lifetime, has to come with some form of respective (or karmic, if your so inclined) price; that "harassment" you speak of is generated specifically by them (and the pr machines that surround them) to make them all this money. It's unnatural yes, but so is earning $5mil to pretend to be a vampire in front of a camera for a couple of weeks. Goes with the territory. You don't the harassment, then give back all that money.

With success comes haters. With promotion comes scorn. With ability comes injury. Mo' money, Mo' Problems. However you want to say it.

How you achieve those initial positives, often dictates how those inseparable negatives follow.

Now going back to this:

As much as I feel for them, as having you life ruined is not fun for anyone - they courted it at least to some degree - it's called be careful what you wish for, and know how to deal.

No one asked them to pose for scantily clad or suggestive pics, nor upload them to the internet to create some kind of online persona. You know these days if you you're dumb enough to take pics of yourself on a phone, they might as well already be published. Both those girls knew what they were doing and didn't realise the price.

It's like the whole lady Diana thing *Rann braces for impact* - she fucking courted the press, left right and center for her own status and fame (and in fairness charity work) then wanted them to not hound her when it suited her. Can't have it both ways.

Don;t get me wrong - I'm not even for a second hinting at the "rape victims deserved it" argument, but don't expose yourself or act like a slut if you don't want to be treated like one. I would never, but sadly there are people out there that will.

Please, she loves the attention. Did you see her smile after they did a close up of her cans? She loves every second of it. She posted "Do you want me?" as a status update on her wall. She loves the exposure too. You don't have to accept all those friend requests, but she's maxed out already at 5k. It's not cheap or immoral in this case, it's publicity.

There is a massive chasm of difference, and you know that. At least I hope you do.

Posted by WittyHandle on Jan-14-2012 23:28:

Exactly. Everything has its pros and cons. As long as you're willing to accept that, do it up I say.

I do, but I feel you're on a slippery slope when you try to find a distinction here, and it's not as simple as we wish it was.

Either way, I bumped this thread just so I wouldn't forget it (I need to answer you and DJ Rann), and because one of my favourite sets is probably relevant to this thread:
