-- EDC in Orlando this year again?

Well, the Techno guys were the only ones pulling me up to Orlando, So I'll be skipping EDC Orlando this year. I could come up for Saturday but it doesn't seem worth the ticket, gas, driving time and etc. Unfortunately I have to work on Friday and won't even get out til later so by the time I get to Orlando it'll be nearly 10ish at night.

Yup, you're right, ALL of the tech guys are confirmed to be playing on Friday, based upon their bookings at other gigs for Saturday. Did this quickly on Facebook.
So that's good, whatever stage has all these guys is going to be the place to be. Gonna be a lot of good music and a hell of a party at that stage -- should be pretty epic.
Kind of interesting to speculate on the set order...Gaiser, Calderone, Carl Craig, Loco Dice, and then Hawtin to close it out? Would like to see Gaiser at night but don't see him playing later than any of those other guys...then again, Carl Craig at night followed by Loco and Hawtin is a jaw-dropping lineup.

Niiice. And I'm going to be there BOTH days now...lol. Fellow bartender jumped at the chance to take my Saturday for her Wednesday -- done deal! I know, I talked a lot of crap about this festival in the previous pages but 1. the lineup got a hell of a lot better on Friday, and 2. most of my friends are going to be there Saturday and not Friday, so fuck it.

Dude, you get off work at 5pm and you live like 20 min away. You're passing up some new talent to see on the Techno stage and hanging out with the crew for what...$75? By the time you get there and inside the park, you will be there before the headliners take the stage anyways. C'mon Andy! Andy! Andy! Andy! Andy!

Recent NYC transplant. Will be going both days, driving up solo from Tampa. If anyone wants to meet up I'd love to say hello. Can also possible give someone a ride if needed.
Any word on other events/afterparties?
Re. Lineup - not the best, but definitely a few names I want to see.

Regarding afterparties: it kinda sucks cuz Orlando closes so early and the festival is AWAY from all the clubs.
I'd imagine Roxy, Vain, Senso will all have afterparties -- but yeah, they won't be announced until the last minute for some reason.
Let me know if ya'll pick a specific time and place to meet up at the fest. I'll make an effort to introduce myself for sure.
Anyone got any idea on what the layout is going to be like this year? Will they be using the citrus bowl?
