All a person has to do is look back at Giuseppe in NU NRG to hear what trance is. On top of an impressive catalog, take a listen to Solarstone's Electronic Architecture compilations to hear progressive trance in an almost perfect form. I know that Kristina loves the pure trance sound, so she is a great fit and will bring plenty of energy to the night. Part of this rant obviously comes from my love of a certain type of trance. I realize that other types exist, and I even like many of the other versions, but I feel like this event will put on display what trance was meant to sound like. I'm also writing in the hopes that people will not jump to the larger event, and we can fill this club with the support these artists deserve. Luckily, I don't think we need a lot of us in there, as the club is fairly small. I've taken a look at pictures and I'm actually looking forward to the venue. It used to be called PinkRoom, and the LED screen looks impressive. It should be a great setting for this type of sound. If you're one of those who already bought tickets, or not, and is on the fence, my suggestion is that you give it a shot. You could easily check out the place and the music and decide for yourself. Space will be open much much later and you could always leave before 2am if you're not "feeling it".... though you probably will be . For the rest of you, who are as excited as I am, please conciously spread the word. There will be plenty of people in and around South Beach that week who will be undecided for Saturday night. If you find out they are into trance, or just up for anything, invite them out. Let's make this one of those parties to really remember. That is all. PS - Before somebody asks, I don't work for the club or promoters, haha.

As far as the lineup discussion, I could really see it going in any order. It all revolves around if Solarstone is closing out his own party or not. As for flow, I think KSky -> J00F -> Solarstone -> GO might work well, but I honestly don't care. This lineup is so f'n solid that the night could flow perfectly no matter the order.


EDIT: This just came to mind (though doubt it would happen).... what about 2 hours of J00F b2b Solarstone to close the night. JESUS, gotta go change my pants now.

Pure Trance vs. JOC @ Space

Anyone else a little torn about Pure Trance and JOC (with others) playing on the same night? It's just hard as a trance fan to go to one and miss out on the other party especially since both parties feature top notch trance DJs.

I'm still sticking to Pure Trance, however, because Solarstone and J00F are a rarity for Miami and I can't stand the Main Room at Space.

Any comments?

If anyone needs a tix, ill sell it for what i got 35 bucks. The two people ill be with are going to Space now for JoC so im heading there. Want tickets allows you to change the pick up name. So let me know and ill change the name after we work something out.

That lineup at Space is awesome but sticking with Pure Trance. Maybe afterwards hit Space if Kearney goes last and how late it will be open in main room

Not only sticking with Pure Trance I'm looking forward to it...yes I'm disappointed about not seeing joc or Kearney but solarstone i don't see venturing down here...maybe with reception joc and Kearney make their way back down... But I've started downloading solarstones podcast and giuseppes as well to get prepared

You guys are silly check out pure Trance leave at 3/4 and go to space for a few hours. Nothing better than both

That's the issue. Door prices are usually outrageous in the Afterhours. I would love to go from Pure Trance to Space but I would like to know how long the event will run in the Main room. I've only seen the main room open until 7am, and that was for Markus awhile back. If it went on til 9 or 10 I'd drop the money. But it could be $100 for what could end up being the last hour or two of the main room.

U guys are right about that I wasn't thinking about the financial aspect of things. Iv been blessed to buy all my tickets for 25 or less

I'm down to leave Pure Trance right after J00F is done. TBH, not too amped to see Solarstone. Other than J00F, I think the Space lineup IS much better. So yeah, I'm down to go to Space with you guys at 3 or 4. Would make it three nights and mornings in a row of Space, lmao. Hopefully the trance goes until at least 8. Then I can go upstairs and see Morillo tear it up during one of his patented marathons for a bit before I pass the fuck out.

It went until around 8 last year for JOC during the Garuda party, IIRC. Maybe my sense of time was just warped though

i was really looking forward to this night myself, but it doesnt hurt as much living near nyc right now. Ill be seeing ferry tayle and daniel kandi b2b tonight. and our promoter has been bringing in trance names we've been dying for, so With my friends picking space and kearney being there im not to torn,but i feel like both shows will have equal greatness. Im still down for the meet up before i head to space, so ill plan on seeing you guys there.

I will leave early too only if GO is last and Kearney is last at Space. Also Space needs to be open till 9-10am.

I think I've made my feelings clear about this party, so this is just from a clearly logistical standpoint..... Space can be difficult to get into in a timely manner in the early am hours. There's always a line because of the popularity of the terrace. As long as you beat the rush for Morillo, though, you shouldn't have to wait too long. For those of you who've never seen GO live, I highly suggest staying around for a few tunes if he, indeed, does go last. He's the closest artists on this lineup to the hard techy sounds of J'OC and Kearney. He absolutely cranked out the bpm's when he played at Space a few years back and really displayed his musical talents as he played live over several tracks.

I agree with you. Only leaving because GO is one of the only trance dj's they book consistently here other than the trouse artists we get a lot during the year.

The more I think about it, the more I think I'm just gonna stay at Pure.

Going to Space at 3-4 am is a logistical and financial nightmare. It's going to be mega-money just to step foot in the place and it might be a long time before you even get in. Why leave a good party with good people just for a chance to see a DJ play the last couple of hours?

Pure Trance will be a blast and it's a huge TA meetup as well. Why leave that? There will be other parties in the future, don't have to try to see everybody in one night.
