I just connected 2 sec on the ftp of the MP3 mixing competition and i only saw 8 mix Maximum, we'r not only 8 competitors we'r more so who remains ???

i am waiting that they analyse our mixes

Ok after help from both Project T and t0ast! I finally got my mix uploaded. I used BPM Studio v.4.2 to mix with and hav sent a tracklisting to the ftp Goodluck everybody

some questions:

1 - when is the next competition?

2 - if auto bpm ain't allowed, how do you guys actually beatmatch?! all of you have 2 soundcards on your computers? isn't it needed to have 2 soundcards to have a separate channel for headphones? (if there is another way, i'm REALLY interested in knowing)

I have to soundcards so that's what I used, but If you don't have it, I guess you can use a audio splitter to split, but it will be in mono. You will have to reconfigure the setup on the program your using too.

some soundcards can handle two sound outputs anyway, u dont always need two soundcards

i made an excel spreadsheet
i had all the competitors listed in teh first column
and at the top of the second column i had beat matching
third column was track selection
4th transition harmonics, and 5th total percent, like i added up the points of the 2,3,4 column and got the percent of the total for each mix

i asked project t about that a bit earlier...he said there wasn;t any standard sheet used for judging....but liquidxxd's idea sounds good. thats what i think i'll do.

btw: i'm just starting my judging tonite....since there's only like 9 people, this should be a snap

that is a great idea

i agree with the possibility to download (after the competition finished) other competitors mixes. that should be great to analyse ourself how good they mix and to see the mistakes they do and so on.

great to hear that we won't wait long time to hear the results.
