There's a great reddit thread on "ask reddit" about people who know or who have known people in ICE. But would you guys say there is a relatively quiet majority of people in the US who believe both of the following?

-That ICE is going about it the wrong way.

When you have to try and form an image of the atmosphere there based on news and social media alone, it can be really hard to tell whether there's a population at all that supports a sensible middle-ground.

I think I understand your question and I'll try to answer from a personal perspective.

- I for one would prefer that illegal immigrants, WHO have committed major crimes, should be shipped back or not allowed. There should definitely be some sort of due process behind it though.

- I think the current methods being performed by ICE are wrong.


I think I'm inline with the average American. I just weighed myself and can confirm. Ooof.
