yeah, that would rock!!! and it would also be good for other TA's that are not from Toronto, like people in Montreal to hear your sets and see what they are missing.

wooohooo, I'm so excited that Hartec is a part of TA!!!

"ultra tall guy" isn't that bad of a name, considering I'm only 5'7.5" (5' 8" on a good day)... Not only that but you were one of the most friendly people I met all night - totally positive and totally welcoming... Thanks for helping my night be great.

regards.

Where to begin...

First of all - thanks to all the TAs who came out and made the night a memorable one - the amount of energy some of ya bring into the club just hypes people up and we need more of that are parties!!!

Next on the agenda are the select few who appear to always lean towards the negative aspect when talking about a night when a guest dj is in town. Some of whom are contradicting themselves since when I saw them at certain times that night they definitely had a smile on their face (and of course didn't see me, but then again, their eyes were closed ). Understand that you are in the minority and as the pictures will show there were a ton of people who had an amazing time on Friday night.

As for those that didn't go and are basing the quality of the party on the tracklist alone, well, the DJ is playing to the crowd in front of them and reacting/deciding what to play next based on that - not on whether those few people in attendance who download every track as mp3 when it's still a promo feels it's "new enough" to grace their privileged ears.

I see striking similarities in this and the same people who leave me feedback complaining of either the servers being busy or there being a lack of frequent updates. ...I just tell them TA is there to help bring trance to people who wouldn't otherwise get a chance to hear it very easily - and as we ALL KNOW - quantity far exceeds quality in this genre and it's better to update with (what I think) to be quality as opposed to something medicore that just happens to be "newer".

Hey Swamps, did you by any chance get to interview Talla? I noticed that you were talking to him at the end of his set, and then both of you disappeared into the night :P. So many questions so little time

Well said above..

I see a lot of unneccassary arguing on almost every thread, PVD vs TIESTO, progressive vs trance and so on and on. Who cares whats better it's still trance, this a place where we should unite not argue as for the trance scene in Toronto isn't exactly the biggest.

It's not like I'm perfect I would take some comments back myself lol, but to a conclusion I can only blame myself if I'm not having fun at an event, cause regardless of any guest dj performance, it's still better then sitting home, or going to a top 40 club

I would have had fun if i wasn't dizzy lol, next time I won't miss my dinner before an event, just had no time lol

Peace, Love, Unity

Hi all,
I arrived at here at Waterloo just a couple of hours ago. I didn't have time during the weekend to go on Ta. I brought my friend to see Talla from Waterloo. He absolutely loved it, he's an exchange student from Germany, so he already knew Talla from before. The rest of my weekend was great.

-I just wanna say a couple of things, Talla was great. It was my first time seeing Talla, awsome.
-The TA's were great. Nice meeting all of you: (sorry if i forgot to mention you, and in no particular order) Hordash, Desidel, Durafei, Tatgirl , Endlesswave, the rest of you. I glad you all had fun. See you all again, definately
-Its weird I made it to the Coffee place across the street at around 11:00 but noone was there, then we waited till 11:30 and no-one was there, well.. noone that I could recognize, so then we left and luckly got in before 12:00 for price of $5 less.
-The party didn't start until about 1:00. The whole night was awsome. Hartec you were great. Also welcome to Ta. Talla was great as I said. I dont think I will elaborate much. I danced, smiled and uncontrolably held my hands high, what else can be said...
-Tatgirl, also everyone else, I left at aroung 5:30, I was giving a ride to a friend. Sorry I didn't say bye to some of you. I was looking for people for 5-10 min and made a couple of cicrles through the club to find you but I was unsuccessful. Maybe you were in the lisenced area... see you next time, without a doubt.
-I'll add more whatever comes to my head.

-The prog vs non-prog crap is just crap. You guys have enough Trance experience to know that there is no conflict in Trance. All Trance should be given respect, no matter which one you like, because if you talk negatively about a certain Trance genre then you are no less of a 'Gino' then the typical 'Gino' we stereotype.

Thats it for now.
-Me

hee hee! I get a smiley face Nice meeting you too- hope to see you soon.

Yeah, the prog vs trance thing (and the bickering over who or what is better) is getting SOOOOO old. To each his own. I love it all (except drum 'n bass, but I'M not gonna bash anyone for loving it).
