i dont like fifty cents but he lives up to his word with that robbing the industry thing. anything more you people say, positive or negative comments, can only make him stronger. there's probably going to be a few of you who got exposed to fifty cents and likes him now. the man is filthy rich, and i can hate him for that alone. cant do anything about it though because when people hear about some guy's life and his struggles, they want to listen to it and pretend they're as tough as the rapper is trying to sound. thats really why people listen to rap nowadays, because they want to be hardcore or gangster or be a player and shit like that.

but please, i come here to read about trance, so can we take this thread over to the "stupid shit about stupid people" section/ i can preach to you about how much i like bone thugs n harmony but that would seem pointless in a forum like this, wouldnt you say?

also, you people get heated for absolutely no reason. if i said fifty cent aint gangster, some of you will start acting like i insulted your mom. and if i said he was good, others are gonna say im a dumbass for thinking so. just chill the fuck out with your lame disses.

anyway, who else likes scott bond vs solarstone - 3rd earth

50 cent feat Lil Kim - Magic Stick

this song is pretty good too

anyone seen Mya's new video "my love is like wo", all i can say is wo...

Posted by Vlad on Jun-17-2003 05:59:

The first few times I heard it, it was good. Than it spread like the black plague.. little white kids, asian kids, religious kids, black kids, spanish kids, adults, adolesants, the universe was singing this song, and I officially banished it from my computer.

jizza, I saw Vanilla Ice in concert twice in Brooklyn, June & Dec 2002, at club L'amore's in NY. I gotta say, 2 best days of my life.

G Unittttttttttt!!!!!!!

I listening to his CD right now, had it since it came out but never listened to it, it seems like every song is already played on the radio.

Posted by mcleod on Jun-18-2003 19:04:

personally i think this song is ridiculous, he sounds like p diddy's old prodige Mase haha. You can't even understand what he's saying most of the time. Most rappers these days have nothing to talk about except how much money they have and all their hoes. The only real rappers are dead: 2pac, Biggy.

50 CENT - IN DA CLUB (MVS LOONIE MIX)

My girlfriend loves this song... And it's okay... Better than other mainstream..

In general, mainstream sucks horseass, if that is possible... It's just producer-vomit, and Idol-competitions... Hypocrites they are!
I hate mainstream so damn much... Everytime there's a mainstream song on the radio, I turn it off, wait 4 minutes, and turn it on again

Posted by dEEkAy on Jun-18-2003 23:02:

well I have to admit, the song is quite okay actually

as I heard it the first time I really disliked it, nah, i HATED it

took some time till I even started to like it. heard the album at a friend and it isnt that bad either

DIE THREAD DIE... on a side note.. the producers behind these tracks is what makes the fucking artist, not the other way around, ironically enough. Producers never really get to bathe in any of the glory of their 'masterpieces' (making music that is digestable enough that everyone can 'listen' to it) though unfortunately, although i can't really say that being a mainstream icon is on my 'wish list' either.

Listen to this guy live and it sounds like his mic is a tin can and hes caned out of his mind or soemthing :-D

Thats not really fair on 2 counts. 1 the better known producers (dre(who did "in the club" P.Diddy etc) all get at least 100 thousand per tune. Secondly the majority of the time the production is simply a background, the rapper either makes or breaks the tune.

I wanna see 50 Cent and Ja Rule fight to the death, since they hate eachother so much!!!

That's teh one I was talking about. Much better than "let's get ill" if you ask me....in terms of those kind of songs that sample from rap/hip hop.
