One time my bf found a pic of a cock on my cell phone (yup, one of the 4 prior mentioned) and before he had time to get mad or ask questions i was like "ya lol he's gay lol"

Plus, I didn't feel bad because it was sent to me before him and I got serious

To me it does, because I have more self respect than to stay with someone who doesn't trust me. Nor would I waste my time with an insecure loser..or with any person I doubted.

Posted by squirrelly on Jun-08-2009 15:15:

oh yea, for sure.

I was just sayin' length of time with someone doesn't always mean trust or not trust.

You people are nuts. I can't even trust myself to do the right thing in every situation possible, so there is absolutely no way I could place trust in another human.

I don't trust myself either... I do trust Mrs. Hazard though... and she trusts me. More then anything else it is her trust in me that keeps me in line.

I like to think that I'm a complete person on my own and given the level of trust I don't have for myself looking outside for that is just reaching for a crutch.

It's not that I'm looking to her for anything; rather, knowing she trusts me acts as a disincentive to doing things that are contrary to her trust. I still don't trust myself; however, I find that I normally do the right thing (at lest partially) because I do not want to endanger the trust she has in me.

You could be lucky too if you play your cards right

I think it's stupid. I mean yeah I agree to an extent...but that trust within myself exists whether it's tied to somebody else or not. It's almost like setting yourself up to justify/not be accountable for potential wrongdoings.

I understand your point. Let's just say I don't want to live that way. However it is sort of noble I suppose.

See it is like this. Yesterday I needed to strictly control my diet and run for about an hour. Instead I almost breached my trust and went to a yacht party to get fucked up listening to shit music and hitting on vapid whores.

Posted by squirrelly on Jun-08-2009 16:19:

No, I totally see what he's talking about. You always have several options on what to do in a situation, and something motivates you to choose one specific option. His love of Mrs. Hazard and the trust that she has in him leads him to go in the direction which would cause the least amount of pain and/or turmoil for Mrs. Hazard. It is a commendable thing.

There are times when people think "I could get away with that" but then they weigh the consequences around before they decide.

I know I always put myself in the other persons shoes before I do ANYTHING.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jun-08-2009 16:22:

I agree about respecting another's trust in oneself, but the way Moral describes it, it does sound like a crutch...which I don't agree with at all. If you can't do it for yourself, you shouldn't be looking to another person to do it for you.

Your own opinion of yourself and what you could "get away with" should have weight above all others, imo. I mean if you don't know what's right and wrong to you, and don't have some kind of integrity surrounding that, it's pretty whack. But I think I'm just reading too far into that, lol.

I'm not sure I'd view it as a crutch. The decision making process isn't such that I'm thinking "I totally want this bar slut to blow me but if somehow Mrs. Hazard finds out then I'm fucked;" rather, it's more like "while I'm sure that receiving fellatio from this lady of questionable morals would be enjoyable I value maintaining Mrs. Hazard's trust more." See the distinction?

With respect to "do(ing) it for yourself" it's worth pointing out that I really don't know if I'm capable of "doing it" (I'm really not certain what it is in this instance) for myself... there is a difference between having doubts in one's ability and lacking said ability. Do I trust myself to make the best decision at all times in any circumstance that may ever pose itself... no, how can anyone unless they have actually been put in every circumstance?

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jun-08-2009 16:35:

Yeah I think that sounds weak. Just my view. *shrug*

Same here although I do understand the logic behind the mindset.
