Not just one, but two DJMs? Jeez man, thats some heavy investment. Great setup. Wish I had something like that kicking in my room. I will have to settle with my one DJM setup for now

That mixer has seen it's best days.. bought it used, gonna buy a new one when my money situation gets better. When I don't need the mixer, I just push it below the table (that little shelf has wheels under it). The CDJ's were used too, i'm considering about selling them and buying an another 1200. Not totally sure about that yet.


The 1200 is on top of an old stereo system thingy. Not a lot of vinyls atm, but i'm alvays collecting more

i guess its just because he's used to them and i'm used to my pioneer deck.
i'm still getting to know the tech CDJs tho
my opinion will probably change later on
i really like the CDJ800 though because it gets teh job done very well and costs much much less money

I'm not referring to mixing in the headphones, only beatmatching. I've had a chance to play with the Rane Rotary, and its a very cool mixer, built like a tank, and the rotary knobs are very precise and comfortable to use. idk, I just don't like not having the option to be able to cue more than one channel at a time.

Thats excellent news!! I bought the Empath instead of the 2016 due to that feature, but now I'm gonna have to pick up the 2016a for sure.

wow!!! that's one of the reasons why i chose the Empath over the mp2016 in the end too.

I think we think too much alike. We both have the same carts, and other stuff too Kinetic.

Bambu don't require light :P

I work at the ikea and there absolutly no light there and they live very well hehe.
