Not Friday, Thursday, right? At least that's when he's playing the Church. If you're talking about something else then ignore me.

Be Cool!

Oh yea, Thursday. I'm sorry I goofed up.

Posted by NiteMer on Oct-13-2004 17:03:

Ferry is here again. I might have to check that out. I don't know though, I got a hockey game at 9:30. That would mean I can't get there before 11:30 or so. We shall see.

Posted by biznology on Oct-13-2004 18:12:

sorry to break it to everyone, but thank god i dont have to figure out how to get to and afford seeing the Thurs DJ this week...

I think Oct 29th at Vinyl is my next must see, delicious Sander K. Tho Sasha might be a possibility if not for redic overcrowding|

Agreed. Sander is one of my three must see's (w/ Hernan and Max). Although Markus Schulz is probably added now and James Holden might have a case. Sasha is great, but I've seen him a bunch of times w/ and w/out Diggers and crowds are too much at his shows. When is he playing Vinyl? Is the opening this week or next? I thought he played opening weekend, but I can't remember.

LOL DJ Irene...puke!

Nice lounge area tho, doesnt look at all like old vinyl. ROFLCOPTER at the people in the pictures posing for the excellent club night Vinyl hasnt provided in years...

Also: WOW tore the roof off here in Boulder at the beginning of summer and theyve added band members since then. Omi's voice is on point and worth seeing them by default...oh yeah theres Nick and Jody too, heh. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest going Nov 5th.

Mmm delicious 21+, no barely teeners WOOHOO!

ps Liz, we need easier access to dates apparently, as we are pretty lazy and rarely hear about these acts outside of our own searching!

promotion, promotion, promotion!!!|

I saw the flyer and postings on Co Rave. I was just too lazy to figure it out. I get my confusion now though. Sasha is the first Friday, but that's not opening week. I will definitely be there for Sander and probably WOW, especially since it's live PA. Maybe Sasha. Maybe Crystal Method too. They blew it up at the Avalon. If you haven't been to Vinyl's rooftop yet, definitely check it out. It's pretty sweet. It's just getting a little cold for it.

Posted by beatport on Oct-15-2004 00:01:

OK I was totally wrong about Vinyl's new layout. I went in yesterday to snoop around & the basement is completely different. They have glass walls down the sides of it. It's really cool! The main level has lots of glass walls too. It's totally different than what I thought they were doing. I never made it up to the 2nd floor because I was afraid for my life (workers & heavy tools & sparks & ladders & wires everywhere).

Grand Opening is Sasha on Friday so I'll see some of you there I'm sure. (Well, besides the other "grand opening" on Tuesday for Femmes Night - but that doesn't count in my book).

One question, and one only. Did he play Punk?

maybe not the original, but i bet he threw in some electro sounding noises to spice it up a bit!

Posted by NiteMer on Oct-15-2004 22:08:

How was his set? I am trying to lay low more often and had a hockey game at 9:30 so I wouldn't have gotten there until like 11:30 or later.

Worm Popper

Anybody been to vinyl yet? The place looks awesome

Posted by AntronVee on Oct-19-2004 21:45:

Only been on the rooftop since it's the only thing open. That'll all change this coming weekend, though. The rooftop is real nice and from Liz's description of the inside, Vinyl is shaping up to be one of, if not the, nicest club(s) in Denver.

cant wait! but then again Sasha + opening Friday for Vinyl =

dont it?!?

Posted by NiteMer on Oct-21-2004 16:48:

I've heard it's really nice in there. On one hand I'm disappointed that I have to play that night and can't go, however, it's going to be a damn meat market in there. I imagine it will be shoulder to shoulder downstairs and I'm not really down with that anyway.

Posted by farley on Oct-23-2004 06:51:

Even tho I did miss Sasha I did get next Thurs and Fri off for Sander...I'll figure out some way to make the money.

Posted by MindShifter on Oct-23-2004 22:11:

New vinyl is pimp man. There were a lot of peeps there last night, but I don't think it was as crowded as it was for Sasha at the church earlier this summer. Sasha's set was better too. He played Holden - A Break in the Clouds as his second track. Also played Felix da Housecat - Watching Cars Go By. I shoulda known it was gonna cost $20 to get in, oh well, hopefully it will be cheaper for Sander, since its not opening night and he's a 'lesser known' dj.

Posted by farley on Oct-24-2004 09:35:

Fock..is it just me, or was Dieselboy and the end of Rap the best set we've heard in a long time by far? Shit was ace...

Posted by NiteMer on Oct-25-2004 17:29:

I finally ordered Grayarea so I will see how good this track really is.
