For the record, it's times like this I fucking love TranceAddict.com/forums - I came into the house well pissed off from shoveling my car out 3 times (the plows came back down the street while I was on the way to get salt ) in the past day, and it isn't going anywhere, and in a matter of about 20 minutes you fellows all managed to give me a pretty good laugh.

I've ridden the bus exactly two times and both were chock full of entertainment. Long story short, bus drivers are fucking crazy people - and there's definitely no "Don't curse like a drunken sailor/senile homeless person" rule.

It's also significantly quicker and unbelievably cheaper than driving. I seriously should have been doing this all of last semester.

I don't know what bus drivers where you are are like, but the ones here fucking rule.

One guy, I kid you not, ran over someone's garbage can and just kept driving for like 10 blocks before the thing flew out from underneath the bus and went onto someone's lawn, there was literally garbage ALL over the street and that guy's lawn.

I have a picture somewhere on my cell phone of another bus driver sitting at the wheel with a 40 of Labatt in his hand, smiling like a complete idiot.

Yeah - that sounds about the same as here. They seem to be utterly insane in an "awesome even if I die on this ride I was entertained" kind of way.

i once asked a bus driver who had his bus parked on the side of a street in downtown Manhattan how to get to a certain subway station (i was drunk and had forgotten which direction i had come from). instead of telling me, he told me to hop on and he'd drive me there. i figured i had a 50/50 chance of either ending up at the correct subway station, or getting raped in a dark alley filled with garbage and rats.

but he ended up being the coolest bus driver ever. i ended up tipping him $5 since he didn't make me pay a fare or anything, and i was the only one on the bus.

when i forgot my camera at privilege in ibiza, i went all the way up in a cab and was going to go back down and find another cab (privilege is like right in between san an and ibiza town, middle of nowhere) and i saw an empty bus departing, buddy hooked me up with a ride straight to el divino where all my homeys were, on one of the giant club shuttle busses, was perfect
