your best bet is to get the train, you'll have to wait from one of the London people to wake up and give you more specific details though (though if i remember corectly London bridge is near to a tube line that goes to Euston Station, which will let you get a train from there to Birmingham where most of us trainin it are meeting

Posted by dj_mdma on Jun-18-2003 10:04:

The nearest tube line to London Bridge is the Jubilee line and Northern Line, I'll bet your staying in the Orient Expresso chain of hostels down Borough High Street! My uni is very close to there.

Anyway, IF you want to get a coach, which i recommend u dont, you can get the Northern line to Kings Cross/St Pancras and get the coaches from there. Euston is one stop past Kings Cross.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the heads up...staying with a mate who moved to London a while back and Im pretty sure he said London Bridge...

Do I need to book a ticket for the train down to Birmingham or not?

Anyway Im sure I'll figure it out once I get to London in early July hehe

Posted by jon on Jun-18-2003 11:20:

booking tickets normally means its cheeper, but if you miss your train you have to pay more, so it depends on how confident you are you will make those times

Just my 2cents, but isnt it a good idea to make somesort of LIST of all the people that are going, together with their nationality? At least, thats what we did in the Holland TA-forum with Tiesto in Concert. There were 90 TA-members. Think GKGG will be somewhat around 90 members also

[eurovisionsongfestivalmode on]Here are the results of the dutch jury[eurovisionsongfestivalmode off]:

* BasD
* Optimus
* New Wave
* Miss Proximus
* BoumaBros
* Snitz
* BasvH
* Robert
* SnuggLe
* Magrec
* Ltheseus
* Remy_D

These are the guys/gals that are coming.....i think

Posted by sykadelik on Jun-18-2003 13:08:

Geesh, there are gonna be shed loadsa ta's! Will definately be worth doing another vid this year...

WOO! Fellow Aussie...

Get the train from London Euston to Birmingham New Street... you can book train tix online at www.qjump.co.uk, ring your hotel and ask if you can get them sent there for holding until you arrive.

Also for anyone planning on getting the train out to stratford from brum, I suggest you get your tix well in advance as those trains are going to be PACKED.

dont be silly, just go early like us, and everything is hassle free.

so if you need, like i said before, meet up with us lot at new street at midday or a bit b4, then we will end up at gkgg for 2pm, before any crowding problems

An official meetup time and place will probably be worked out once we get details of set times.... but that may or may not happen, depending on how secretive the press is this year. Nearer the time if we still haven't worked sommat out we'll prolly pm cellphone numbers n stuff and organise it once we're there.

I imagine a larg contigent of us will be meeting in the car park anyway... and oh yeah, there's a meetup at Birmingham New Street station for the people coming by train.

Posted by Ste on Jun-20-2003 17:32:

i think best place to sort a meetup wud be any dj lull before 10 (or itys too dark to see when fucked)at the enterence to the gallery arena nearest to the funfair stuff. that way u jsut have to have a quick mul laround there, or if both enterences if u dunno which si closet, that way u will deofs find ppl

Hello every man woman and dog! I shall be there of course my little cherubs! We are planning to set up tents by the cars afterwards, so we can get a bit of shut eye before the big drive back! So how many pf us do u reakon there is gonna be? Im gonna get a rough number from the slinkykids and together we shall estimate!

Cant wait lots of abuse and it has to be very, very cyber!

luvoo all

Posted by flystyler on Jul-01-2003 15:10:

Well i imagine what will happen is what usually happens. People recognise others from pictures, and introduce themselves, or we spend a fortune on txts and meet up before hand and all go in together like last year.

But i dont think there has ever been a succesful meet up at a set point. Im sure we will all bump into each other as always

But i reckon there is gonna be double the number of people as last year
