Hey everybody. I've grown up here in the bay area (Fairfax to be exact). And I did a stint as a Cleveland TA (for college). Then I did a stint as a Raleigh, NC TA (working for IBM). Now I am home again for good. So I hope to become a fixture of the norcal TA society. I look forward to seeing a lot of you at the many upcoming shows and hope to make some new friends.

I agree. Meetups are good. I think we have fewer TAs in the crowds here as compared to what the LATAs make it sound like down there. But even so I still think it would be good to build more of an SFTA community even if it will be a bit smaller. Going to events, you don't really get a chance to talk, and unless you leave at the same time (closing maybe) you're unlikely to get a chance to talk.

I'm switching from last summer's NYC to SF Bay for this summer!
I'm gonna be located in San Jose from June to Sept, after which it's back to boring Finland again...

Hope to make some new friends from fellow TA's, it's never too early to start preparing for a summer of fun in California :)

I'm a Euro-trance girl, so hopefully will catch some quality Dutch or German DJs in SF ;) but I do like house and other stuff as well.

I grew up in Cupertino and Los Gatos, and went to high school in San Jose...then was in orange county for college for 5 years, and now i live in downtown San Francisco....if i don't belong in the Norcal Alliance...i can't imagine who would .

I love trance and i make it out to parties whenever i can drag my friends who i'm sorry to say don't know the difference between trance, house, or that shit you hear on 92.7, and often use the unfortunate term "techno".

So if there really is a community up here in the bay area, pleeeease LEMME IN!!! it's cold out here and i think i hear someone playing some un-remixed coldplay and sarah mclaughlan..ahhhhh!

Welcome to the Bay Area. I'll probably be in LA on 6/3, otherwise I would be going to SF. It's too bad that you are going to miss Darude at 1015 this weekend. I will be missing him too since I'll be travelling but he was great the last two times.
