ok fair enough (and funny too) but if Tiesto and Armin don't like each other.....that probably means they won't produce together and that, truly, is a huge loss for trance.

is there a similarity in what they play ?

is there a similarity in the tracks they produce or remix ?

when was last time they did something together ?

Armin just said only a few months ago on trance.nu that he was planning a team up with Tiesto. I guess that fell through.

And the last time they did something together was Major League - Wonder and that was 2000-2001ish.

Actually what was the last song Tiesto did with any trance dj? He only remixes them now.
I don't think their tracklistings are all that similar either!

In fact I know for a fact that they went for dinner before coming out to shawarmas, so I would think they are likely good friends! There's no reason to my knowledge for them to hate each other!

maybe "hate" is a strong word... "don't like each other" is more apropriate having dinner with someone doesn't mean anything

Wow... June 13th, will probably be one of my fav parties ever!!
This was my first time at Aria, and well... IMO, it's needs to be renovated!!! Other then that.. I really enjoyed the layout of the club.
Tiesto's set.... what can we say... it's TIESTO!!! I thought he had a great set (other than the technical difficulties)! After seeing his last performance at the Kool Haus (Toronto) in 2002, i wasn't to pleased with him, but he brought back my faith this night. It's been a while since i've heard a wicked set like this topping it off Dj Ton T.B. - Electronic Malfunction (Cor Fijneman remix??).

As for Armin's set... I don't what everyone was talking about, but I thought he had the set of the night, with the majority of his set pure banging Trance, with a pinch of Techno (Frank Biazzi - Turbulance), and Hard Trance! Favorite track of the night was Questia - Nexus Asia (i knew he would play that!!) I also like that fact that Armin played some tracks that i never heard before, usually i know every track he plays!

Unfortunaltey, my friends wanted to head out after Armin, so i only caught Ornadel's first track Moogwai - Neon!!! I really liked that track! After seeing his tracklist for this one, I'm kinda dissappointed that i wasn't able to see him!!

That still doesn't disprove that Tiesto and Armin aren't getting along at the moment. But whatever....they're both great and I can't wait until they come back to Toronto.

I am a Tiesto fan.....look at my previous post and you'll see that I'm mostly interested in the music. But you know.....when you invest so much time and money into a certain celebrity (and Tiesto IS a celebrity now...you can't argue that!), you don't mind hearing about them as a person from time to time. There's nothing wrong with asking if he and another big trance DJ are fighting....just like it's not wrong to ask if they're drug addicts.
