Indeed, a great track...I played it at Vic's party and many people came up to me afterwards asking me about the track...had a great time at Central Park and even a better time spinning at Vic's party...nice to meet all you TA's..I'll write more when I have a chance, including a full tracklist of my set..

The best way to describe this night is that IT DID NOT FEEL LIKE NYC! I felt like I was at Ultra again. The whole night was just amazing. Did anyone go up up on the bleachers and look over the crowd when the sun went down? It gave an entire different perspective of the crowd and the vibe. The first 2 hours people wern't moving much. The place didn't even get that packed until an hour into his set. I was wishing that I had a switch to turn off the sun. As soon as the sun went down and those lasers went on, people started going nuts. PVD's tracklisting was ok. He played some really awesome trance stormers but he also played alot of his own stuff which I wasn't that into. It seemed like he ran out of records and that's why he had to start repeating songs. He also kept the Nu-Nrg to a bare minimum of 2 songs. He must of known they were here a few days ago.

Me & Lisa put together almost a complete tracklist for the entire 4 hours. It's even in order with just a few songs missing but I don't where all the ID's belong. A few might be out of place because I got the names later in the night and had to guess where to stick them. Connective & Eternal were never played.

i thought it was a nice change of pace being outside in central park for an event like this.....rather than a club....definately the way to end the summer i would have to agree that it was chill in the beinning of his set--but didn't you already expect that??? he wasn't going to throw it down until the sun went down.....but when he did, HE DID--laser show was amazing, sound system sucked(but were at summer stage, not twilo), crowd was allright..i thought that a lot of people were rude (bumping into me and knocking me over ) but they were probally real f*cked up... would liked to have heard him spin a couple of more hours to really complete his set....6 hours would have been perfect
anyway my friends and i had such a great time......my highlight of the night--for an angel.....i couldn't believe he dropped it...did anyone notice the teaser he did an hour before he played it??? i couldn't believe he did that to us
another observation was the amount of puma sneakers...i was wearing pumas too, but WTF are they the official party sneaker.....
i guess we all have good taste
can't wait to see pvd in november

fuck puma... (I work for adidas )

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I just got back home from NYC today, I haven't used a computer in over a week!!!!!!!!!!!!

christ, so looks like I missed all the major posting...oh well, I guess I will read through these massive threads later.
I will post my pics from Nu-NRG @ Arc and PVD @ CPSS in the appropriate threads.

I'll keep my PVD review breif, as I'm sure many of my thoughts have already been stated by others:

I had a fucking blast, it was a great experience, and although PVD's set wasn't anywhere close to his best, he still did an incredible job.

high points (OMFG I DIEEEEEE~!!! ) :

Second Sun - Empire (PVD's TPOD Mix)
Ralphie B - Massive
Nu-NRG - Dreamland

omg...first time I have heard any of those played live!!!

weak points:
wtf...he played 4 different songs twice in his set...that was a bit lame...
also...the way the speakers were set up at the summerstage was complete bullshit...if you were in the front/center, all you could hear was the crow noise...barely a backbeat of a song ffs

aight, I'm out...time to upload my pics and sleep!

I'd rather be clapping with the music than hopping around at random. The crowd wasn't with the music at all, people were jumping like mad during the breakdowns and blowing whistles out-of-sync with the beat.

Besides, I was loaded down with essentials for the trip up. If I started jumping there's a good chance things would have fallen out of my pockets.

Hey everyone, I'm soo sorry I missed the TA meetup at 5pm

It was a miracle that I even made it to New York with how full the flights were, but at five I was just getting on the subway at JFK airport to get into Manhattan. Having never been in the city before it took me some time to figure out where in Central Park I needed to be, so I got to Summerstage just after Paul was finishing up the Sander K Mix of Rock Your Body.

Did anyone maybe see me? I had a big-ass backpack on at first (because I'd come straight from the airport) and was wearing a light blue plaid shirt with cargo shorts. After I dropped the bag I was probably most easily spotted dancing like a madman. I tried to find people, but didn't know what anyone looked like. There was one guy I spotted with a TrancEaddict shirt, but he said he wasn't with anyone else.

Anywho, I personally thought that it was an AMAZING evening. Here were my highlights of the night:

DJ Tiesto - Traffic
Who knew Paul would play a production from his rival? I didn't think much of this track when I first heard it in mp3, but it is much, much better live, and I have much more respect for it as a result. I think it really kicked off the energy of the night, and perhaps was the most powerful reaction of the crowd the whole time. Destroyed.

A Different Journey to Vega
I was really glad to hear Paul play this, because I think it's one of the best and most overlooked of his productions.

Nu-Nrg - Dreamland
He finished what he only began to play at Ultra. (But no End Kiss; did anyone else see that guy's sign?) Hearing this live in its entirety for the first time only deepens my love for it. The crowd simply exploded.

As The Rush Comes
I thought this would be one of those tracks that isn't as good live, but it was totally the opposite. Just as I was scratching it off my list for possible best of the year this put it back in the running. And twice, no less!

Second Sun - Empire (TPOD Remix)
WOW. Epic and electrifying. I've underrated this one.

For An Angel (E-Werk Club Mix)
This was the first time I'd ever heard my favorite live from Paul. There couldn't have been a more classic moment of the night in my mind. Not to mention the crowd went insane for it.

Crush
Probably the real star of the night. People couldn't get enough of it. Neither could I.

Reflections
I think this is one of his best productions since For An Angel. It has a perfect summery vibe, is simple and beautiful at the same time.

Here's a correction or two to the tracklist with comments:

The part from Nothing (Returning 93) to Empire was simply mindblowing!!! I want those IDs!

Modulation - Spirits was also near the beginning.

There was some track in the first half with these excellent Balearic strings, but I don't know what it was (or which ID).

I heard a killer dark trancer near the end, but I'm not sure which it was.

Okay, I'm done.

Nah, it was black with white lettering, and I asked him myself if he was with any other TAs.

where were you in the crowd? Most TA's got there early and were directly in front of PVD back a bit. Or around that area anyway. I hung out with RussianCrush most of the set and then DrummeRaver86/Sirocco torward the end. I couldn't find my way back to my old spot, the crowd drifted too much
