hmm you gave me some great laughs. you made a big grammatical error which i won't point out and it makes fun of you and everyone who's been against me so far haha. secondly take pride in making other people look stupid behind a computer screen typing on a keyboard alone in a room? hmm weird.. all i can say.. if people didn't care about me and i look extremely stupid why are people feeling the need to reply with very thought out posts. ahhh shit i WILL point out the mistake. it's in the third quote reply you said forums would be boring with stupid people after all and idiots like me make it interesting. so everyone is stupid and i am an idiot who comes in and makes it entertaining. that's "rich". and don't tell me NOT to point out grammatical mistakes if your balls have dropped unlike mine as you say then maybe you shouldn't be a retard and write properly. haha. they have dropped.

Someone made a good point about the hype before things are released, and how it can be positive or negative. Even if you're a die-hard G&D addict, you have to admit, remixing BS for whatever reason is as funny as people who cut their old jeans into shorts.

One user that made me laugh inparticular was Aloep, or something along them lines, as he did come across as a bit, how should I say, up his own arse?

There's a few valid points in this thread but most of it is drowned out by the ridiculous flaming that's gone on, and even from some users who are calling others childish, when they don't appear to come across much better.

I haven't heard the track yet so I'm not going to criticise G&D too much, but I'm not expecting too much.

Lastly, yeah, I'm a hypocrite.

IMO if anyone resorts to petty "insults" in an argument, then they've lost it already. They're judging somebody they don't know through some text, and I for one certainally would not care about some text calling me a "******" or whatever.

There was no need for anybody to flame in this thread, okay so some people including myself think that there's nothing wrong with remixing a pop artist, while others think differently. Everyone should just agree to disagree rather than let it resort to all the crap that this thread is full of.

Yes, I think it would be a good idea to close it as it doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

I was hoping that Dave Dresden and post a confirmation if this remix actually exists or not as I can't remember seeing any in this thread, and to give his opinion on the idea of remixing pop songs.

these guys are getting the oppurtunity now not only to make money but to get there name out to a whole slew of ppl who have never heard of em b4...if there remix gets on a single and some person likes it yadda yadda word of mouth she/he looks for other works by these ppl and maybe even starts to like electronica/trance.... there is a whole level here some of you ppl have not even thought about

just because they are remixing it doesnt mean they wont make other quality tunes like teh evanescence one and lili haydn...
