The sound that Armin used to lay down is what got me into trance pretty much. His shit used to be sooo fucking sick....now most of his shit is like zzzzZZZzzzzz. But w/e...I still like him and support him as a producer/DJ.....hes an awesome guy.

I read that Paul played before Ti�sto @ NEC, and Tijs was having all his trouble because of the Final Scratch turnatable... sound died out during Traffic, ouch.

Didn't PVD do that @ Ultra last year???....Punched the table or some shit....I think I remember seeing a video of it.

i can kinda of understand why djs like tiesto and pvd sometimes get upset at these big gigs. you would think that the equipment for huge events like nec and ultra would be almost fail proof. and wham!! right in the middle of your set the turntable focks up or something of the sort, and totally kills the energy they had going, etc. tho i guess they should keep there cool i can totally understand their frustration, and i dont think its because they are "spoiled" or anything synonymous with that. they just expect that when they show up for a gig that everything be in working order, not too much to ask for any dj imho, let alone a world class dj like tiesto and pvd.

TBH, I think every dj has had a bad moment. Jules has punched fans that heckled him. Carl Cox skipped flights on purpose, PvD had an altercation with a fan at Crasher several years ago, Sasha puked on the decks, Tiesto broke a tone arm because a table broke in front of 35,000 people. Marco V beat up a mixer that died on him in the middle of sensation. Shit happens to the best of them and with that much pressure to perform up to the standards set by their fans, I have no doubt that if I was in any of their places I would have done the same thing (except for maybe Jules) I would have killed myself long ago.

Judging Tiesto based on that is pointless because I would put any dj in his place and I'll bet 99% of them would have done the same thing.

As for Space, bring on Tijs!!!

I agree. When you go into a gig wanting to give it your all and then something happens that ruins the vibe...you can't help but get frustrated sometimes. After all at the end of the day they are only human.

There are special vynils used for final scratch. Apparently the have timestamps instead of tracks.
