Uni results have arrived

So how did everyone do?

Once again i was shocked to read mine, i did think i failed some subjects only to realise some people havent completed it yet, so they wont release the results I see this L sitting on my screen and i nearly shit myself

cupple a HD's there

well done narc

Posted by Synchronized on Jul-19-2004 05:39:

Heh, well done. I got my results last week and was surprised to find out that I got a distinction for physics. I wasn't even sure that I was going to pass that subject. But overall, I got 2 credits and 2 distinctions.

Posted by pinkhelmet on Jul-19-2004 07:58:

my results come out at midnite tonite, i have no finger nails left!!
*breathe in, breath out*

Posted by G`Dave on Jul-19-2004 08:12:

Well....

A distinction (In the bullshit subject I didn't like. Go Figure)
2 Credits
3 Passes

I deserve that
This semester I shall actually do some work I think.
But then that's what I always say.

Posted by stamper on Jul-19-2004 09:14:

Wel my results are in, dunno if i wanna say:

60 - Financial Accounting II
57 - Mareting Communications III
45 - Commercial Law II

Got a sup for comm law and i think i blitzed that today? Funny story tho, i rocked up at the wrong venue! Made it to the other venue ok on time but i had to do some crazy driving skills to get there on time, i guess playing GTA a lot paid off.

Posted by Sid on Jul-19-2004 10:19:

My results come out tomorrow. Really slacked off this semester so not expecting anything crash hot!

Posted by gumble on Jul-19-2004 11:12:

60 for a subject i thought i would fail.
63 (gutted, 2 off credit)
72 (even more gutted - 3 off a D)

Posted by Trance Nutter on Jul-19-2004 11:38:

Two credits - hapy days, thought i seriously buggered up one of those exams

Distinction for a subject that I didn't have much idea for, some management bullcrap

High Distinction - To be truthful I woulda been a bit dissapointed with less, I seriously reckon I got close to 100 for the exam

Pretty stoked overall - Honours here I come

Posted by Antistatic on Jul-19-2004 12:48:

66% average. Not bad, but could do better if I put more effort into my assignments etc.

Posted by PulseFusion on Jul-19-2004 16:47:

hehe, not as much going out last semester for me, partly coz no job, partly coz more study , but 2 HD, 3D for me almost was worth the extra effort...

juss curious, g'dave, what year u in? u done w/exp? whats the scene like for engineering work experience over there in melgurn, or syd for that matter? anyone? i've got a contact in dsto over there (mel) in the engines & airframes div but dunno if its worth tryin...

omg macquarie is gay!! u think they wuda figured out any 'problems' before today fuckin hell!!! i woke up early and everything! grrrrr mac is gay

I'm only in first year at Monash uni. We have to do about 3 months of work experience in second year... I think its about 3 months anyways.

Shouldn't be too hard to find a place.. I work at a bowling alley (no comments) so I spose I could work down the back as a mechanic if I was getting desperate. But so far as the general scene goes.. I really have nfi. I'll ask some 3rd years how hard it was for them to find a placement.

hehehehe it was a comedy fest. We would rock up to class talking about weekends and who went where and did what instead of following the assesment!lol Tutor was always off chops also which goes a long way also to explain why I managed a pass, in what had to be the easiest 10 credit points I have ever received.

Posted by gumble on Jul-20-2004 07:13:

i think tathi used sarcasm, something that seems to go way over the heads of ppl on these boards.....

well, i woulda meant that sarcastically...
