I found an internet connection finally, and I must say I'm dissapointed in alot of my fellow TA's... First of all, NO, ACOSTA did not cheese it up, he only tore it up with this crazy new music... I think it's called trance... But being the bandwagon-biatches a lot of you are, I'll let you moan about having to listen to good music... I think he opened with Push - Universal Nation... this is a classic. What's cheese? "I know you want me, I know want me, I know you want me..." to stop playing that song? Crush=Cottage Cheese... period. Acosta is a sick D.J., he can't produce (Secada was a misake.), but I guess he is a "******" since he was spinning trance at a free event... I honestly look foward to seeing all of you haters perform next year... right Stan, James, Raul? Anyways, another point for you confused ones. Acosta is not pointing at himself for attention, he's pointing at his head. For all my tuned-in TA soldiers, we understand something clear... this music does wonders with your imagination and mood... Acosta isn't pointing at his head for you ******s to praise him... he's just feeling the music where it counts. It's a connection you get with the music through the D.J., and I think it's fickle of you focks to hate because George is feeling his music. The way I see it, there's a small group of people who felt the beats and danced for Acosta, there's a small group of TA's who were surfin' the Murf and "refused" to dance (you guys are so confused), and then there's the majority of the crowd that doesn't give or know a flying fock about who's spinning, and they all had a good time and were dancing the whole night. Sorry to call you guys out, but that's the reality of it. PvD sucked during WMC (the worst set at Space, ever.) and yet I was still dancing until the end of his set... he redeemed himself, but either way I still enjoyed the music and danced the whole night. You know why? Music, Is Life. I suggest for all you punks who hate music to start posting on TrancePoser.com so we "tranceaddicts" don't have to read all of your nonsense. Jessica, I agree with you totally, this was my favorite July 4th yet, and it was way more chill than Ultra6 was. Ultra6 cost 78 dollars at the door; commerialization at it's best. I seriously hated Ultra this year... Ultra4 had 9 stages/600,000 watts... Ultra5 had 10 stages/750,000 watts... and this year they added two more stages and topped the sound power out at 1,000,000 watts. My point, too many different songs playing at different beats in too small of an area. One stage is the way to go, so much more soothing to the ears. And Miami/Dade P.D. wasn't camping out and arresting people by the busload. I look foward to next year's July 4th Bash, we'll see about Ultra. Either way, if you agree with me or if my words don't work for you, let me make it clear that Markus Schulz is so fire, he definitely has the raw sound now. Afterparty with Markus was perfect, except it was next door, not at the 34. Peace,
daVe

Ultra 4 was by far my favorite ultra, best lineup too, the club space stage was just mad rockin'.
Tijs spun twice... what happened to Ultra.? Fock the Streets and all these alternative electronic dance groups hogging the good stages. You think they'll ever figure out to put all the trance headliners back on one stage again?

Originally posted by Mattivi Beautiful POST!! Dr Dave, read my post on page 8, and i believe me and you are in perfect harmony on the acosta issue, very nice revelation about the pointing thing, clears alot of things up. but yeah a lot of wanker posts with UNORIGINAL critisism on this board, and its the usual suspects as usual...
I think mattivi, jeskot7 (no offense, querida, but if you're agreeing with those 2, then i'm worried about you.
) and ESPECIALLY drdave need musical therapy.
Acosta did play better than usual, i'll give you that, but it'll take him quite a while for him to get rid of the cheese the haunts his reputation. And of course, any pvd flaming haters can just go fuck off. Don't like the way da man plays, then get the fuck out of the venue.
pvd = :-))~~

So don't call me confused one, DrDave. I think you are the one who needs some enlightement in order to differentiate between good DJ and bad DJ.
Where's Fred, he's Acosta's lawyer hehehehe..
Ive seen Acosta bunch of times before.. eehh yeah he did play better stuff, but still needs to improve and see himself back in 99 so he could get back to what he was.
PS" KEWL PICSSS!!
eKs That picture is UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Make sure Pat sees it. And as for the rest of you to don't be so fucking picky George Acosta spins trance the stuff we are all supposed to love so don't be so quick to jump the bandwagon.

Originally posted by DrDave Lo Siento amigo. It was the first song I heard.... I mean, it's on his new CD as well, so even not being there I could have logically guessed he'd play it, but either way he did spin Push. >> Nice picture bro, what camera/program did you use for the crazy pic?

Originally posted by 3xx3r7 I agree on that. Maybe Acosta played a little better. What really pissed me off, is that they gave him an unbelievably huge time slot. What for? They only gave Edgar couple minutes, while they gave that talentless bag of lard almost three hours? Just because he dropped Adagio for Strings and Love Comes Again (yes I am talking to you, Tiesto whores) does not make him a better DJ. Unless he does something groundbreaking, he will still suck. End of story. Hehe, bashing PvD now, eh? Don't get me started on your idol Mr. Tiesto and how much of an exception the set at club Icon was. And yah, lol, I almost died laughing when you started comparing PvD to Acosta. So don't call me confused one, DrDave. I think you are the one who needs some enlightement in order to differentiate between good DJ and bad DJ. Cheers, Stan

Originally posted by Mattivi you never have a clue whats going on, do you. you act like pvd has never had a bad gig in his life. and before the fourth of july blast have you ever seen acosta live?, and honestly how many times have you seen tiesto live, or even pvd(i bet less than five) i bet ive seen pvd more times live than you, and therefore have more grounds to critique. just because pvd is a very sound technical dj, what about the tracks sometimes? its just thud, thud, thud, some sets its like jesus slow down bit,let me catch my breath. and then ive seen him were it wasnt like that and he put together a REALLY GOOD set, i will admit, without that annoying proverbial bassline(i can be OBJECTIVE) and please quit bashing acosta a "talent less bad of lard" as u put it, thats just lame and tactless. yeah i liked his old style better(im not defending him now but he still puts together a decent set), but he still would dj your ass under the table. and all this jibe you talk about tiesto sucks now he was better a few years ago, well i got news for ya, so was PVD!!! i much prefer the old pvd sets from the late nineties than now, but he is still good, but at least i dont bash him mindlessly and in wanker fashion like you do to tiesto and acosta. you need to learn how to be more refined and a little more tactful in your critisisms, for real. and i think the whole time slot thing was 93.1 fault not acostas or edgars. peace out

listen you need to go back and really read your post, notice how it is usually only you who i call out, not felipe and others who do quality post and state them with clarity and tact. something you do not, im not going to give examples but there are numerous. and i never said tiesto is without faults, it just gets old when people trash him on the mixing thing inveteratly, im sick of hearing of it, but hey when your number one people hate. sorry bro until you prove otherwise i think the majority of your post are without true substance and verve. and im not insulting anyone,i just call out the bullsh$t. cheerioz!!!!!!!!!!!!!
can we all just tranny along
Too much drama in the forum lately.
