even if the list isn't fake, it's pretty much codshit and shows how poor dance music really has got at times, no way are dj's like tall paul atb & deep dish better than dave clarke, adam beyer, j00f etc, if they renamed it the 'djs with the most sheep or pr machine top100' then that might be true, but still. shame so many people worship this list like it counts for anything

well this list has pretty much nothing to do with DJ skills now-a-days..

It is more like a popularity contest.

hernan cattaneo and chris lawrence dont have a huge PR machine at all..they deserve thier spots though they r very innovative and skilled, .

I was mainly generalising. A lot of that list is skilled DJs but ATB at 13, Benny Benassi at 18. i didn't even know the guy mixed, next we'll see flip n fill at 101 or something stupid. Pretty gutting for some of the guys who can mix a lot better than some of those who only got in by hype or foul means.

The best thing to come out of it tho is the majority of us realise this isn't the be all and end all of EDM. In a week which we lost someone who gave 40 odd years to music in John Peel, it kinda puts things into perspective.
