Webber missing at the buzzer? This SHOULDNT SURPRISE ANYONE
It definitely doesnt surprise me....Webber has and ALWAYS WILL BE
a BITCH who wont win ANYTHING - he hasnt since high school.

And most times hes too SCARED to at least shoot it at the end -
left that 2 Bibby in Sac-town
Glad hes getting what he deserves

since it seems this is turning into a 76ers thread, rather than a nba thread .. .. i just want to state that iverson put up 48 the other night against the bucks .. .. iverson's third 40+ game against the bucks this season !!! .. iverson is the buck's b!tches this year .. no question ..

and 'twan and pierce seem to have their old train wagon churning the same speed as it was three years ago, when they almost beat philly .. it's going to be interesting what philly and boston are going to do the rest of the season ..

and damn that baron davis .. proves his ankle wasn't hurt .. he played the other night against golden state .. what does golden state have that the hornets don't have ?? we both have losing seasons, and nothing to go for this season .. unless baron davis likes playing for a white coach (mike montgomery) rather than a black one (byron scott) .. .. no racial threats intended there .. but the feud between scott and davis was obvious in the crowd ..

My teams coach got the BOOT today, Maurice Cheeks was fired. He's a really good guy but not really the best coach. Firing him isn't gonna solve anything though. The Blazers roster is woefully unbalanced and lacks any sense of maturity or intelligence. Their best players are selfish and whiny little biaaaches (Randolph, Miles). It was sad to see a guy like Cheeks have to deal with these knuckleheads, while having to deal with the meddling management as well. At the same time, he seems lost at times in his direction, his rotations. Plus, he's too buddy buddy with the guys and thus, the players try to step on him more.

As a fan, I just want them to start playing the young guys like Telfair/Pryzbilla more.

Blazers front office needs to stop making rosters like it is a fantasy league and try starting over making a team with good chemistry and some consistency.By the way what in the hell did they get from the pacers when they traded Jermaine o'neal to them.

Double D, Dale Davis

Great one huh?

re

do u think webber will be performing very good or not with his new team?

who do you think is selfish i hope you dont mean AI cuz he gives 100 on the court everytime and reason why he shoots so much is cuz he never has anybody to play with

Dale Davis signed with the Pacers to cover for Jermaine o'neal while O'neal is on the injured list...very funny to me after learning they were traded for one another.Gary Payton signs back up with the Celtics....I am calling my shot now...Celtics win the Atlantic Division

with the team C's have they have a chance to get to playoffs and make some suprises ... but after that they going to have to pass by spurs and that wont happand ... but u have to keep in mind that nobody really was saying detroit had a chance to beat lakers, spurs or minnesota and the way they started playing during playoffs they could have beaten anybody .. i am not sure tho which team in east they passed by barely i think nets and then destroyed lakers

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Mar-13-2005 06:59:

agree .. i have changed my opinion against the sixers for now .. boston looks pretty strong now, with walker, pierce, and ricky davis continuing to score 20+ points, and "the glove" still trying to work that magic he once had in seattle .. boston looks very tough when they are hitting their shots ..

the sixers .. well they're another story .. can't talk much about them .. seriously .. i will talk to them when webber grows up, and helps iverson, and the rest of the team wakes up ..

don't look now, but it looks like the hometown hornets are trying to salvage what has become a very disastrous year .. peeps .. remember these names .. i will predict the starting 5 for next year for the new orleans hornets ..

pj brown, lee nailon, jamaal magloire, j.r. smith, and speedy claxton .. not a bad lineup for next year .. and remember jr smith .. he is starting to get a knack for the nba, and i will be the dunce of the year and predict smith averaging at least 20 points per game next year .. he is hitting his 3 pointers, and going to the lane at will now .. and he's only 20 .. remember that ...

and the hornets bench will consist of casey jacobson, jackson vroman, chris andersen, dan dickau, bostjan nachbar, and david west .. not a bad 11 man lineup .. now that the hornets have gotten rid of the lazy bum players, they can look forward to a bright future .. hopefully ...

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Mar-14-2005 17:09:

in other nba news, i read the headline 'raptor ties nba record mark in 3s' ..

i thought .. jalen rose? rafaer alston? morris peterson? .. no it cant be chris bosh ..

lo and behold .. it was donyell marshall .. .. i really feel this guy is really a good quality basketball player .. when he was with golden state .. chicago .. no one knows it yet ..

John Nash is a fukin' retard, one minute he wants to rebuild, but he does'nt understand the concept of "rebuilding season" so he screwed the blazers over the salary cap from now until forever for average players and this season is the most wasted season ever!

-3 big contracts running out and no trade!
-a chance to Bring A.Jamison last year blown out
-The Mavs sent signals they want NVE bad and they were willing to give one of their young players and an expiring contract for him (marquis Daniels?,Josh howard?) - Nash blew that off too
-Giving B.Wells for free!
- Ratliff for 5 seasons 65 million$? %#$%WTF?!?!?!

Chris Mullin watch out, here comes Nash - he can be even worse then you

The Blazers have to get rid of D.A,Ratliff and even Miles or Randolph for a true star and true Role players who can get their job done EVERY night, that Aside - the Blazers must sign someone like Redd or at least some players with Redd's shooting like Korver for example - and most importantnly loser teams pay role players stars money!!

If John Nash knew basketball at all then he would have made a concept of how he wants the team to be builted in the modern NBA -and i mean professionaly!! - i couldnt care less about their personalties or their homeboys as long as b-ball and the Blazers is what they are dedicated to.

Gooooo Celtics

Posted by BadBadNeil on Mar-20-2005 06:17:

Just to chime in I can't see how anyone can beat the heat in 7 games with the way they are playing, including the suns and spurs.

in other news ...

lebron james puts up 56 points against toronto .... yet still lose the game, because cleveland has no bench to support james...

tim duncan severely sprained his ankle .. will probably be out for two weeks .. if san antonio was smart, they would sit him for the rest of the season to let that ankle heal ..

How Bout Them Heat !

Hmm it's almost the end of the regular and I'm not sure about Philly's place in the Playoffs, but I hope that they'll get it and C-Webb with AI will show their skills.

Posted by Member of X on Mar-23-2005 19:50:

C Webb in the playoffs? You mean the time of year where he annually disappears? Looks like he already started to show "playoff" form upon his arrival in Philly.

Got to go with Miami this year from the East. Detroit vs. Miami would be a great Conference Finals though! As a Blazers fan (sadly I know), I hope Snack elbows Raweed Wallace in the face.

Alonzo Mourning used to be my favorite player when he was at Georgetown with Dikembe Mutumbo and later with Larry Johnson at Charlotte. I hope he gets the chance to play in the finals.

As for Lebron and Cleveland.... CU Next Tuesday
