Yeah thanks Nat...No worries though we would have been ran over by angry freaks lol...hehe ...

I got my chance to tell him thanks when we were leaving and he was still in the booth it was kinda cool ...he was still so pumped...perhaps we'll catch shoe phones next time

I saw some huge black dude, kinda looked like Dennis Rodman on uber-steroids, with sunglasses on and a muscle shirt. Maaan, he looked jacked up on something. Cut thru the crowd right past me at some point, and turned around and shot me some look, while breathing really heavily thru puckered up lips... it was really wierd. I couldnt tell if he was trying to pick me up or intimidate me?

Posted by torontobarfly on Dec-13-2004 04:43:

lol, i saw him too nat....he was like that all night.....kind of stalking the crowd...looked like a wwe wrastler

Posted by ++ EGO ++ on Dec-13-2004 04:47:

I dubbed him Blade. Slayer of vampires.

ok so after reading thru about 7 pages of review ive decided to throw in my little piece.

myself and two other friends got to the club at around 10ish the line-up was already massive. i had one extra ticket and had no problem selling it fairly quickly for double the price ( damn should have bought more )

yes the coat check was disgustingly inefficient but atleast we got our jackets back in one piece! ( i herd some jackets were lost )

we made our way towards the center of the club thinking it would be a good place to dance, unfortunatly that was a big mistake. There was no room to breath it took us another 20 minutes to get out.

mainly spent the night on the left hand corner of the stage, met a few TA's ie Starsearcher... i only remembered you caus u posted that picture of the shirt u were gona wear. dont remember the others.

towards the morning, i moved closer to the middle alongside the guy with the orange poster " TIESTO WE TRUST" helping him hold it up and getting the thumbs up from tiesto was crazy!!

CROWD: very mixed, some beautiful women, other 40 yr old scaries...
MUZIC: pretty good set, slow at times.. HIGHLIGHT when he dropped TEARS FROM THE MOON - CONJURE ONE i love that song !!!
INTERIOR: was lacking alot of chill space, they could have done a better job by throwing in a dozen extra couches... there was no place to sit down!

OVERALL: 7/10

need to mention, i got my hands on his headphones. holding them at the top part while 3 guys were pulling them in different directions, after about 10 seconds of gripping i decided " FUCK IT" and let it go, as soon as i let them go...the guys pulled them in oppsite directions and "SNAP" same thing happened to the vynil... such a shame...

good night evry1

Yeah, I moved out of his way quick when he came to go past me. Don't know what it is but huge jacked up black guys w/ do-rags and sunglasses on scare the shit out of me.
Maybe from my experiences of seeing people beat the snot out of each other at 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg concerts, who knows...

What an amazing night! We already know that Toronto loves Armin, but it seems there is no lack of it for Tiesto either. The enthusiasm of the crowd could be felt anywhere on the floor.

Lots of memorable tunes (Voyage!!) I liked his selection of tracks cause for the most part it kept me dancing like crazy all night and towards the end, Tiesto made it impossible to stop. My legs are feeling the effects of this today
Having him on a stage would've definately added to the magik.. but I stayed directly across from the booth and got a good view of him smiling and dancing.. so can't complain.

My only upsets were the coat-check screw-up and having to leave at 6:30.. just when those classics started pouring in. A party like this just doesn't feel complete unless you stay til the end.

What was the final track?

Tiesto come back soon!

LOL! Some old asian guy commented on Graham's shirt, and then we realized he was the same guy we met at the Guv when Way Out West was there a while back. All that guy could say that night was "happy! happy! happy!" and gave us K for no reason. Needless to say, he offered the same hospitality last night.

I love hearing the odd track I can ID, but I get bored as hell when a DJ is playing records that half the crowd already OWNS.

Tiesto gets probably 30 or 50 promos a week from all over the world - it's sad when TOTA can ID 80% of his set.

i wasn't able to ID 80% of it .. then again i'm not a DJ ..

i don't know why there's such a debate over what constitues a good set, so long as people are having fun and enjoying themselves, that's all that should really matter in the end
