Got to say it... you guys talk shit more than most poeple. Tiesto put on his Cd - and then partied at NYE!? what the f***...
He just finished his 5 hours set. It could've been better guys. THe set was wicked but Gods fucked up the VIP queue (90 mins it took us and we were there at 7pm!)
Inside a whole mix of people were gathered for Tiesto... he started at 2200 - but then went off for a bit... for 3 songs of some shit rock band - who didnt even remember to stop playing to do the NY countdown!
Dammit
Finally tijs came back out... and part 2 was the bomb.

Can i also point out AGAIN...
2002 - THe World.. broadcast promised... never recorded.
2003 - australia...broadcast promised... ISOS 3 on the radio instead.
2004 - gods in LA.. broadcast promised.. what did u expect!

here is what he REALLY played last night.. and altho some tunes were CD's he WAS mixing live. I think 2 tracks were a bit off-matched but thats it. Really nice hard pounding way to celebrate new year.

Looks like an awesome set !

They just broadcasted the Dance Department set, the two extra tunes can be explained due to dance department having a commercial break in which those tunes were played and therefore not broadcasted or ripped.

Thread headers states Live Now: Tiesto NYE in LA Their site also stated LIVE broadcast.

Is this the NEW scam to acquire more listeners????

What an amazingly bad idea. Not the time or place for a band like that. And then the band they have is some has-been actor's vanity project...doing the countdown! What the hell were they thinking?

The drummers were pretty cool. And DJ Mason's violin kicked ass.

Does anyone know if there is a recorded version of Tiesto's NYE sets? I was there and would love to have a copy to listen to!! If anyone knows where to find the whole set PLEASE email me or let me know somehow!!

And I agree -- what the hell was up with Juliette Lewis' band for the countdown???? I would have rather had Tiesto up there counting down instead!!!!
