I'm going to miss it, being half way through an 8 hour coach journey

wow, toyota is quite fast this time. disappointing for ferrari, and for montoya (1 second behind kimi?!). haven't seen the qualifying, so dunno if all the laps were normal or if anyone made mistakes.

Posted by fastmp3 on May-07-2005 15:39:

i watched it this morning and the laps were normal i would say

weird as it may seem, Kimi Raikkonen is the only front runner to have made a mistake.. so he should be in great shape for the second session and the race tomorrow.

i think Montoya was just too cautious after his crash on friday.

argh come on Shumi!!!! WTF are they showing the race in the US on CBS on tape delay what bullshit

Posted by TOR on May-08-2005 14:01:

nice result, and well deserved victory for Raikkonen

Posted by Trance Nutter on May-08-2005 14:21:

absolute domination by Raikonnen

Race finshed over an hour ago, and yet our coverage is only just starting.
What have we had in the last hour? A repeat of NCIS, yet another crime show
Its now 11:30pm, they could have easily had this on at 10:30.

Posted by InterMilan31 on May-08-2005 17:36:

Damn Ferraris! Bad luck for Shumi he was doing so good but where was Rubinho omg awful day and this could be a long season if they dont shape up

Oh and a big FU goes out to CBS how awful is this telecast. This gitty American(prolly from Nascar) and some retarted Irish guy who keeps on talking about stupid pointless shit. And ads for Raymond & CSI every 2 min. Its on tape-delay which is horrible and the commentators are talking to us like were stupid and this is F1 for dummies.

he had a spin, but didn't loose too much time there.. but he did loose almost half a minute because of a refuelling problem during one of his pit stops. so he could definitely have had a better result..

oh ok thanks, yeah i guess he needs to get some of that rust out from all the time he missed when he was injured.

Posted by TOR on May-21-2005 12:12:

what a lap by Kimi Raikkonen

and it looked so easy..

that is why he's my favourite driver of the field. stellar performance!

Posted by UnBracKo on May-21-2005 15:03:

so Alonso 2nd, and wait tomorrow

Posted by Trance Nutter on May-22-2005 13:54:

WWOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Webber 3rd!!!!!!!
Heidfeld 2nd!!!

Great result for Williams!

Pity they got held up by Alonso for so long, but it made for a great three way battle

oh, and sheer domination again by Raikonnen

Posted by fastmp3 on May-22-2005 13:58:

what the fuck was wrong with alonso going all slow and shit ? it was a nice race nonetheless specially when trulli did his attempt on alonso but then his car fucked up or something

Posted by noikeee on May-22-2005 16:55:

Raikkonen = (future) legend

the race was fairly boring until the last 11/12 laps, when all the fun started. it was funny to see toyota's pit crew cheering for trulli's suicide overtake then he misses the chicane, loses a few places again and needs to go to the pits

bad race for renault, great race for williams who seems to be back at last!

drivers champ:

code:
1. Alonso 49 2. Raikkonen 27 3. Trulli 26 4. Webber 18 5. Heidfeld 17 R Schumacher 17 7. Fisichella 14 Montoya 14 9. M Schumacher 12 <--- 10. Coulthard 10

constructors champ:
code:
1. Renault 63 2. Mclaren 51 3. Toyota 43 4. Williams 35 5. Ferrari 21 6. Red Bull 14 7. Sauber 7

lots of drama in the final stages.. that was entertaining

well done Williams & McLaren. shame Montoya couldn't get 4th. in the end

Nrbrgring next week. traditionnally Kimi is very strong there as well.. it will be interesting to see if he can pull a hattrick

well it's not exactly his fault that he's been given a big yellow kart instead of a f1

he's started to beat his team-mate now, so it's not like he doesn't know how to drive
