does this riehle brothers place ever see a weekly turnout like say, just a normal bar / club does?
since i'm going last @ 3am, and depending on the mood of the set before me, i'll probly bring along a handful of sexy late summer night funky chunky tech housey type tracks to put big smiles on everyones face to close out. just giving you a heads up, by no means do i plan on spinning a nice gentle "comedown" set. no sir! its gunna be chunkier than a poorly oiled robot
i've been digging through my choons deciding what to bring, look out now!
just finished up an amazing set (well, i felt soo good afterwards)... just reminds me how much i love dance music....
much anticipation for next weekend
I thoroughly plan on being a hard act to follow next weekend... I guess that is if folks in Lafayette are out dancing at 8PM
... you DJ's best get ready...
Check out RJT, Z, & D tonight on 90FM @ http://www.uwsp.edu/stuorg/wwsp/ and click listen to us live!
10PM to ?? CST...
Cheers,
RJT
I'm probably going to try to show up at the place about an hour early in case you guys need help setting anything up. If not I was thinking that maybe a couple of us could go run around and pass out flyers to people at the last minute if we have any left.

how close is this venue to the actual campus? if it's real close then i definitely think we should stand out in "the quad" or whatever you call it there, and hand out fliers just a lil before the show.
Got my flyers today
Does anyone plan on driving out from near detroit that has an extra seat? The closer this is getting, the more I'm thinking about just making the drive with my car...damn lease miles restriction
oh well should be worth it. See you guys there either way.
edit: i am driving and meeting up with a few of my friends in chicago and we're all coming there!

ATTENTION PEOPLE UNDER 18!!!
I called the venue and they don't really care about people under 18. They only care about 21+. So youngin TAs....you're welcome.

From what I've heard there are ladies. Finding the good looking ones is going to be the hard part.
I emailed Will at ETN.fm, if we get this show recorded they will be more than happy to air it several times
so lets get this recording biz down fo sho...
Thats awesome man. Nice work.
Does anyone have some serious recording equipment?
My laptop would work, but I would definitely have to clear some space for 8 hours of sets, and the turnaround time between recording sets would be rough, added to that the potential of a crash...
jam.iii Did you say you had some other recording equipment?
In any event, I'm sure we can get this to work...
Well, I'm sure we all have laptops. I can bring a computer to record all the shit. I can test it out at my place friday night while i mix with my new mixer
If that will do,
I know Im bringing my laptop so I can go back and listen to my set right after the party and critique it and if it turns out nice, upload it for download onto my website.
if anyone has an iRiver that would be ideal i think. plenty of space, small, and recording capabilities.
i would hate to have to be switching computers all the time, we might lose a lot of the sets.
Yeah we should see who can record the entire time continuously, then we can slice it up later. I was thinking we'd need a lot of hard drive space but really we only need about 5gb (600mb per hour wav recording) for the whole night.
I can easily come up with 5gb on my iBook, but right now I only have Sound Studio to record, and don't know if there are any time limits with recordings or any other problems...
And we should still have a backup just in case the first one crashes
If anyone has any ideas on resolving some of the problems stated above that you don't care to discuss on the boards, hit up my PM or AIM: AdRck411...

I hit every sing downtown Indy last night and BRipple
oh god.....I can see the cops arresting/fining me now....
a friend coming with me has a primo powerbook that hold up no doubt...annnd i have the cord running 2rca to 1/8 jack for the mixer to audio-in with some utility recording mp3 or aac realtime... this should be sufficient if no one has any more advanced recording stuff...
i also have an RCA>1/8 inch cord, so we could theoretically record off 2 computers at the same time. we could run one out of the 'record out' on the dj mixer and if the main soundsytem mixer has an 'out' we could do one in there too.
