what a fuckin show! first off nice seeing tatgirl, stereoprincess, rj, cono_sur, danielle and others i cant remember. spent most of the night in the kool haus starting with remy who really got the night started. he played peace division - what is this sound, which i never expected... then nick warren was amazing, definately one of the best ive heard from him. the highlight of his set was matthew dekay - bad! nu nrg was the third time ive seen them and this was definately the best, supersonik, born slippy and end kiss were the highlights.. stopped by the guv to check out cox who was tearin it up but went back to the kool haus for armin who dropped alot of stuff ive never heard probably cause i dont listen to him much but some songs that destroyed me were yahel - liquid love, firewall-sincere, and communication (never sounded that good before! must have been the volume) Great night i give it a 9.5/10 cause i missed a lot of acts i wished i coulda seen

WHAT A SHOW!

I see a lot of you posted reviews and pics so I'll be short.

Showed up at the place around 1030 with a couple of buddies, me and another friend were wearing orange dutch jerseys with "VAN BUUREN 76" written on them. I thought id get a few compliments but people didnt stop coming up to me the whole night hahaha.

after we got in the place was booming already, but i didnt really get into the vibe until nu nrg came on. AMAZING performance by them! before they came on I took pics with them and asked them to play supersonic, and they DID. WOW the place went NUTS when this tune came on, and what a tune to finish with, U2 - where the streets have no name (nu nrg remix).

Then armin came on.... what more can I say, i was right besides the stairs of the stage where he came on, watching him in awe. As soon as he got there he noticed me and my friend, and signed the back of our jerseys, I could not believe it, I was going crazy hahaha. The set started off amazing. played some great tunes throughout the night. adagio for strings, hurricane, communication 2004, burned with desire etc. around 530 - 6 he started playing some harder stuff which gave me time to regain some energy until 730 when he got back to his usual style. Overall an amazing show! armin never dissapoints.

not a big a big TA fan, so didnt meet anyone, but I did have to stop by and say hi to starsearcher, hes a legend around here hahahaha.

You must not have noticed that there was a 1-way traffic pattern at these all-access events. U must exit thru the front doors of the KH, walk thru the tent in front to the Guv entrance. From the Guv, u walk back thru the Orange Room to get back to the KH.

another awesome party...
got there early, was in line by 9:40 (came straight after class)
spent 95% of the night in the KH, only went to the guv early on in the night to check what's going on there
as good as AVB is, I enjoyed Nick Warren and Nu Nrg more (perhaps because I haven't heard them live before)
great running into a lot of TAs that I already know, as well as meeting a whole new bunch of you
left around 6:30, got a few hours of rough sleep (watched movies the rest of the day), now it's time to go party again, l8r

Awesome party! I had a great time...

Stayed in the KH for almost the entire night. Missed Nick's set, NU NRG was decent (waiting to hear some tunes of theirs they neglected to play), and last but not least Armin spun a terrific set... lots of great tunes... coulda been a lil more epic (there were a handful of tunes I wanted to hear that he didn't play), but I was more than happy hearing some tunes for the first time in a club setting and getting to dance to them... among them are:

Andy Moor - Halcyon (mmmmm)
Purple Haze - Adrenaline (I lost my freakin mind)
Armin's new Sensation anthem for 2005 (still untitled as far I know)

and more...

Good to see some TA's there, and especially meeting fellow old schooler j_spot

Good times. I have yet to sleep, but I'll save it for tonight so I dont mess up my sleeping patterns... lol
