I think after just 2 months I feel more and more like a veteran TOTA because it brings a smile to my face every new criticism of a DJ and every new defence!!! LOL!!! It's so funny! We've beaten the issue to death on so many threads from Montreal to Toronto...will it ever end?

I thought that keeping your opinions to yourself showed that you were insecure, now it appears that being open and honest counts towards being insecure as well.

Sorry but considering half of his fans here are ginos and ginas who think that his sets are entirely tracks made by him and who heard Traffic on the radio and thought "sick buzz, bro let's go see him at the docks".

I don't think the issue of you expressing yourself is what dartrance is saying about your insecurity. I think the problem is, that you have come onto a thread which is obviously set up by tiesto fans who are excited that tiesto is coming back to T.O to bash tiesto. i try not to take things personnally, but music is a big part of me, and when people insult my music they are insulting that part of me. putting others down for no apparent reason other than to boost ones own ego, is a sign of insecurity.

I didn't put him down, I put down his ability to play music live for a crowd. By that logic any opinion someone has that is negative is a sign of insecurity. Ego has nothing to do with it, it's not like I think I can do better.

This is a thread to talk about the event. If you don't like hearing negative opinions then lock yourself inside and cut yourself off from all forms of media, computers and other people. I have my right to share my opinion as much as the fans do and the thread states the event and doesn't say that only fans can reply. Besides I am a fan of his older work so it doesn't make me a "hater".

Insecurity is the people replying to me not being able to tolerate my opinion

I did hear it, that's what I'm basing me not wanting to go on, since it's the last set I heard from him and little has changed. I not only heard it but saw two seperate videos, each about half an hour long, that disappointed me.

I don't understand why you are all still on about my opinion of him. It's rather immature to believe that your opinion is right and anyone conflicting with the opinion of a group of people is wrong or has an ego problem or is insecure.

Take notes from fayraree. He likes Tiesto so when he read my comment he didn't take it personaly or whine or cry, he simply joked around about it and that was that. I'm not going to go on and on about how he likes Tiesto and how he shouldn't and call him insecure for it, I mean that would just be stupid . It's how most people should be with conflicting opinions as opposed to this "your opinion is different from mine so I'm going to go cry in a corner until you change your mind" BS that goes on here.

Man Am I ever late in responding and reading threads, 6 hour set you guys say?, I'm in again the 10th time. On amonly.com there is no Montreal date? does any one know anything?

Wow, stellar argument. I've been listening to him for 6 years and I havn't heard anything in a month so gee I guess I can't really judge his talnet.

You can tell yourself whatever it is that helps you sleep at night. If you just can't comprehend that someone has a freethinking mind and opinions of their own then maybe you're just a little insecure. If I were a bandwagon hater I doubt that I'd admit that I listen to Tiesto sets and his songs and remixes. I also doubt that I'd just state my opinion and not be bashing him every chance I get.

If your best argument is that I must be a bandwagoner then I think you need a timeout to wonder exactly why you're debating an opinion. Especialy considering it wasn't all that harsh to begin with.

I cannot recall whether I signled my intention to attend this event or not... regardless, I'll be there.... physically anyway, who knows where my mind will be, it gets away from me at big parties.
