John o'callagan is bad ASS! I heard one of his new sets and it was so fresh to me. It was good trance and it wasnt all shit I hadnt heard 200 times.

actually, i think trance from the 1998-2002 period was the best of the best. everything was new, and just starting out. thats when i got into it, maybe thats why i like this period so much..

the point is bro, is that all these so called "Fun" threads you and others have an affinity for; ie "appreciation, birthday, drunk threads" should be CONSOLIDATED and not littered all over the board, its annoying to have to disect out the crap from the relavent. not that im trying to get in the way of you and your good time buddies having "fun" and "being young and stupid while getting crunked and drunk", because your in college and you can afford too. thats uber fantastic for you. but does every frigging person have to have there own "___" thread? and birhday threads for people who live in another region i wont even get into. anyways, like my brother was saying there used to be threads for all that stuff like "the wake up FLTA" thread and thats where people posted silly nonsense and the like, and it was COOL AND FUN in THAT THREAD. no one jumped on your back for it, but that has disappeared and now there is a conglomeration of nonsense threads on FLTA, and in my opinion it sucks and its juvenile. it would be ok if there was a thread or too for all that stuff but now it seems to dominate the boards and its an eyesore for most, and that is why you dont see many of oldtime members post here much anymore, its just gotten a little grade school-ish. no offense, but i will reword an old adage "there is a time and a place" to "THERE IS A TIME AND A THREAD" for spamming and having fun. 'wake up flta', THE COR ROOM, etc etc, not a new thread everytime a poster needs to occupy there boredom. like i said, no one is persecuting you for "having fun and being young" and for being "in college and getting crunk", just keep it consolidated for the rest of us, its a simple courtesy. no offense was intended to made for this post, but flame me if you will, i could give a shit.

I agree on you about combining threads and putting threads i nthe right bucket. That's why I'm going to put all the new party threads in their right thread. And perhaps have a birthday's thread I can merge with. The Canned Meat thread is really my thread I merge all the drunk threads into, once the night is over.

GREAT POST KOKY!!! seriosly post of the year thus far. i love arturo but it does come off a little pretentious to hear art say when you like a track that its "cheese' when he doenst agree because that he has been enlightened and moved on from trance. funny arturo never talked about cedric before he came popular or came to space. i remember seeing him at crobar before awhile back before i moved to miami and thought he was okay, and i still feel the same way, im not following any trend atm which is so prevalent and chic to do in miami. lame. good music is good music like alot of you have said. and i think trance is far from dead; a few of us saw ferry corsten throw down one of sickest trance sets ever at space wmc, and his track selection was almost PURELY TRANCE, it was beautiful, i still get chills to this day. and all one has to do is listen to ASOT weekly to know that there is still some stellar trance productions coming out even in 2005. concluding, i love all different types of edm, but i still prefer trance any day of week. so enjoy what you enjoy just dont give people on TA of all places shit for still liking trance even tho it isnt as prominent or popular as it was a few years back. its still here and here to stay. peace. one nation under edm......

all awsome tracks !! and i still love em to this day !! but they stood out so much because the competition wasnt as hard as it is today and not half of the music was being produced then like it is today . there is 100 x's more music coming out each week than there was back then .

also if you havent checked out nocturnal yet, i HIGHLY recommend it, the club is amazing.. you can really see where all the money has gone to and the sound is amazing.. i didnt check out the patio a lot because stryke was playing and edgar was in the main room tearing it up! even though there was a small crowd he didnt care! he played great.

as far as i see it, i blame miami for not having enough trance events to post about therefore you see more house event listings. i would say back in september, there was none of these gay spam threads there are now... and its true when you come to TA its freakin annoying to find out whats going in the scene, a review, roll calls, etc.... i admit i post some spam threads... but freakin control yourselves with it! i love trance, it was not my first genre, but thanks to groove eric, groove radio was the best shit that ever happened to me and i wish i went to at least one party they had! thats why i respect eric so much, for being part of that and helping spread it underground. scott start grouping these threads together man cuz its really getting to be a nuissance... i know you're already doing it but keep on keeping on ya know what i mean? so yea back to trance.. i love trance, i probly download 3-4 new sets a week... im not gonna stop talking now because its just been repeated over and over, and its starting to become one mans hate comments on how TA is running now as it was back then and its being over-exaggerated to a big extent. love it or leave it!
