No, it's the fact that you only listen to what's popular. If it's shoved in your face, you'll listen to it apparently. Seriously, I've never seen any of you asshats listen to unknown artists. But then, that's really your loss.

Not much else to say, only 'points' to argue

And how do you know this? Are you a mindreader?

Did it ever occur to anyone that Andy Moor's weak sound is a good thing? At least IMO, because with all these average, same sounding trance songs being released I like to hear something unique and refreshing once in a while. Andy Moor's tunes are enjoyable to me when I am trying to chill out or when I'm in a mellow mood. Surely his sound has changed over the years, but it's certainly not "garbage." Just because I'm a fan of his current style and productions doesn't mean I have not heard his old stuff, because I can assure you that I have been a fan of his since his early production days under the alias sworn and odessi.

Whereas as moor does nothing for me personally, I just wanted to add the following:

Signature basslines, ie PvD, Probspot, Flutlicht, Dumonde, are common, as are other signature sounds.

Only make's friggin sense, as some people like certain signature sounds (As I used to love old Dumonde basslines, and still to date love Flutlicht ones), but I can agree that it can sometimes be a bit bleh when everything sounds so darn similar (the reason I am not a fan of Probspot) it gets kinda pointless, as you are merely milking the popularity of said sound for all it's worth... and then some.

I can agree with that.

Andy Moor is quite talented, and as said before his older stuff is much, much better than his newest releases. And don't get worked up over what Ory says, he has sand in his vagina gnome.

Posted by Subtle on Jul-25-2005 23:55:

well, i think he is better in groups than alone, or rather, i like the styles of Tilt and Leama & Moor better than Andy Moor own projects..

Geezus ory, your such a tool. "Unknown Artists"?? WTF? For every "Unknown Artist" there is a snob that thinks he's too commercial just like you. Seriously dood, if you really want people to change there tastes in music, insulting them is not the way to go. It's your prerogative, but if you nicely recommend some stuff to people that you think they may like in place of Andy Moor, you may find better results.

You know, I think you anti-Moor guys are confused about one thing. Ya know his supposedly cheap-sounding Nintendo-like melodies? Well he does that on purpose. Not because he's run out of ideas or something and has reverted to cheap sounds. That square-wave he uses is on purpose, some people dig it as an original idea and some people really dig the Nintendo-like sound. It's got a vintage touch on a modern production. Personally the Andy Moor tunes are really all I enjoy from the standard trance line that Armin drops all the time. At least it's different and it's just plain enjoyable to hear.

No, you are a joke. There are three main groups on this site; the epic trancers, the McProggers, and the electro/prog-whatever whores. The members within those groups are exactly the same and listen to exactly the same music. You just haven't been paying attention. People are exactly the fucking same, and that's how things will stay in the type of society we live in today.

No, no... Jeeeshh, why do I even bother telling people to stop being tools. They were brought up that way. Gonna take some serious deprogramming to get rid of that.
