my friends done it tons of times at crobar...it shouldnt be a problem.

now with regard to the rain, r u sure u even want to risk having that damaged? i mean, im bringing my tiny digital camera thats like 2+yrs old...last year moisture crept in and my pics got madd foggy for a hour or so...i dont care if that gets messed up...

well re ur camera, keep it in its case when not in use and then ziplock it. LOL.

All of the emails that I've been getting from Made Events are saying that this is almost sold out. I don't know if that's accurate or not, but it might be something that you'd want to consider. I think one even said that there were only like 200 tickets left (not positive about this since i deleted the email because I already have tix). Anyone else get something like this?

but when i picked mine up from satalite last week
they had a whole stack full of them so satalite might be ur best bet
if its true that they are almost sold out then its gonna be packed beyond belief

Yeah, I know there could be better choices out there, I just dint do the research. I saw this online a few months back..checked it out at BestBuy and frankly never been able to take many videos and pics of gigs and events coz I simply hate the fact that I have to carry a handbag or something for a decent video cam, I like to be handsfree...hmm saw this, checked out the pic quality...was good enuff for me and looks sick!!... and the fact that it just folds into almost as small as a phone and straight into my pocket was IT for me, had to buy it.

And hey, I never had any bad experiences with a Sony. So...

Only good think about Sony's is the video. Otherwise Canon > Sony.

i have the HP945 and the videos' sound is always drowned out by static from the ultrasensitive mic
