No no he should use Virtual DJ
he might as well stick to

I fucking hate laptop DJs. If your doing it for a radio show or a promo mix it's fine but if you make a regular thing of it or do it in place of actual mixing, what's the point of doing it period?
If Tiesto started laptop DJing I'd lose any credibility I still have for the guy.
oh man ableton, soo much preperations u need a whole crew to do it. so boring. i think maybe this others are better, traktor etc. i havent tried it much myself but it seems to be just play right away.
Omg Ablehax sux. Whats the point of going to see a dj if he isnt twisting knobs and slamming faders? Thats how dance music is made lol.

Tiesto isn't that bad Clovis
I haven't listened to trance for a few years but a friend had a free ticket to his show in Sydney last year so i went along to check him out. It was a fun night out and i thoroughly enjoyed myself, hearing old favourites like Suburban Train and Silence.
His mixing was fine, i don't remember any trainwrecks or noticeable fuckups. Besides, i was too busy having a good time enjoying the tunes to care about a little thing called mixing
I don't really give a toss about trance these days but I can still enjoy some cheesy hands-in-the-air goodness every now and then.
To each his own.
