Please little child run along, I run a major business, the odd few hundred that you get for signing a filler track isnt even enough to buy me shoes, I know how you kids like to jump and bash on anyone who is successfull in the slightest, but seriously it doesnt give you any more cred.

For the past 15 years I've been doing this, and I'll carry on doing it for the rest of my life. That makes me entitled to an opinion, and after doing a lot of online work too for labels & artists, it's shown me many things, the first of it being that this industry has gone tits up. There are people like John 00 Fleming, Mark EG & Many others who have done so much for music for upto 20 years in some cases, and you know what? They're great people, they are polite, courteous & by extending that courtesy, they get it back. Then we have those people who're newer, take yourself, santiago nino, dave dresden as examples. You've not contributed anywhere near as much as those people yet you put it upon yourself to be a complete & utter fucktard to the people who make you what you are, simply because they don't agree with something you do. You have no right to come on this site & attack someone like Haak who has supported artists for a long time & released many good productions, also being competent as a DJ just because the 'thing' you make is the latest cool thing. People like you are a cancer on the industry and completely & utterly worthless. You love taking the praise but you can't take anything that isn't that. I really hope you crash & burn and end up back in the supermarket, mopping those floors like the scum you really are. Take a leaf out of the book of people like joof, miika kuisma, shokk/flutlicht, dumonde, plastic angel, ralphie b, signum, rank 1 and all those others who've participated here with no sense of being better, and helped us learn, educated us & shared experiences with us. I'd take that type of person over you anyday.

Hello Ian. Please correct me if Im wrong.

There is this expanding attitude among some of the ancient members of the forum. I am not going to call them elitists but much better ancient members.

It is clear that a normal process for achieving common wealth consists in: first I give respect, then I receive respect, I give respect, I receive respect, and the cycle continues.

But I am not able to understand the purpose behind the process used by the ancient members. I am going to say this because I am sure it is what happens and I have seen it many many times. It is a process, unnecessary imo, where this happens: first I give disrespect, and then if I receive respect, then I do give respect, I receive respect, and the cycle continues. But if I first give disrespect, and then I receive disrespect (which unfortunately is normal on human nature), then there is no cycle of wealth: the group of ancient members simply joins against the victim, attacking it and forcing it to leave the forum and leaving its image on the floor.

That kind of test, unnecessary imo, is exactly what happened once again in this thread. The ancient members provoked the fury of Steve Angelo by degrading his work, he responds by defending and attacking back, and then the ancients joined against him by degrading his work even more, and making him looks guilty of starting the problem. Only when Steve showed them some respect, then he started to be accepted by them.

I find unnecessary that attitude. Until certain point it is reasonable, but why not simply treat everyone the same from the start? Noob, ancient, legend, bedroom dj, we all have something useful to contribute. If we first give respect, then we will surely receive respect.

I contributed a tenner to see you in sheffield, you were actually the worst DJ I've ever seen, and I've seen John Kelly

Hey Steve!

I would like to thank you for all the great tracks that you have made, I really like them. Tell Sebastian and big thanks from me too. You truly got me into house music and I love it. Keep up the great work, you and Sebastian. I would love to see you live sometime! Hopefully you will have a gig in Washington D.C soon and I'll get the chance to see you. Your music is much appriciated!

If you want to defend someone, do it not by bashing others, thats how people start to hate, like Man Utd sucks this year, but Chelsea sucks cus Morinho is a prick, not necessarily true (tho i wish it was).
But thanks for the effort.

People tend to have different opinnions about alot of things, some ppl say my work is crap, some dont.

Others look to argue just for the sake of arguing, or boredom, or whatever, I dont take at seriously as non you should.

Some of you seem surprised of what I said to Haak, im still a regular person, if someone tells you they think ur an idiot , are u just gonna say that its cool and its your opinion ?

Probably not.

My 2 cents

PS:Make love not war

ive just been searchin for a listen again link for the angello & ingrosso essential mix and come across this lol

if this really is steve angello..... love your work mate.

personally, i think Breathe is a brilliant track. I think its all down to opinion on weather its a filler or banger.. it depends what kind of set your playin, surely. I think its a bit unfair to say a producer makes tunes just for the cash, and i can undertsand why steve's got a bit pissed off.. maybe came back a bit full on for some people but i think he's right to defend his work

on a different note.. if this is mr angello himself, me and quite a few other mates went to see you at Cream on Boxing Day 2005.. and you didnt show. Luckily, there was a good line-up on anyway, but i.. and hundreds of other people were there particularly for Angello. Now i can imagine that the club is partly to blame, coz im sure you would of let them know before the event and they just didnt wanna say anythin so the crowd would still come..however, we then had a second attempt to see you at Sankeys Soap in january and again, we were let down. Also, you let down Jambossa in December aswell i heard. All them 3 events are in the Northwest of England so you let roughly the same crowd down 3 times in one or two months. I'd hate to give people more fuel for givin you shit on here, but i just thought i'd let you know taht a lot of people were let down. And like a fool, i will be at cream in Easter, where your scheduled to play again.. hopefully you'll be there coz im still waitin to see you play.

on a brown-nose note.. you are currently by far the top dog in house music producin in my opinion, along with a lot of people i know. All the tunes, you've released have been top dollar and i can go as far to say i've loved every one of them. The Who's Who - Whats What EP was nothin short of spectacular, and im currently filling my pants every time i hear MBG & SDS - New Jack (steve angello mix). I must have nearly every tune and remix you've done on vinyl ahaha. I think its a bit unfair for people to critisize you for playin your own music.. because i think thats the main reason people go to see you play. If i turned up to a steve angello gig and didnt hear you play your own stuff, i would feel a bit let down really

sorry for the essay guys and invading your forum, but i just felt the need to reply. Steve is a legend in my eyes lol.. with or without the ego, i dont care.. as long as he keeps releasing the monster tracks as he has done since he came on the scene

play nice guys

***Insert "If you can't do something better, don't criticise" comment here***

Posted by Matt Faz on Mar-03-2006 18:13:

there are a lot of good dj's out there that arnt recognised for various reasons. I think a lot depends on who you know and how determined you are to get recognised. There's probably a lot of good dj's that are just too busy with everyday life to bother making demo's, blagging promoters for sets n stuff

the "you are not a dj" shouts are pretty lame aswell.. anyone who plays records is a DJ... just not necessarily a good one

all the comments about "why would you make a filler track".. i think if someone likes it enough to buy it, then why not release it? I have Breathe on vinyl and play it all the time, coz i like it. I dont think its Steve's best production, but i liked it enough to spend cash that i havnt got on it, and i still aint bored of it. One persons "filler" or laid back tune, make numbers up tune.. whatever you wanna call it.. is another persons favourite

Yes, absolutely all the successfull are bashed on here. They are also always the best. There is no possible way someone who has been spinning in their bedroom for the past few years and grown a deep appreciation for the music and not in it at all for any sort of fame or fortune could possibly be better than all of these famous(ish) producers and djs.

You earned retarded comment of the day... albeit from yesterday.

Of course you don't. You do it for the hungry children of the world
who thank you for a most generous gift, Steve 'Father Theresa' Agello.

This thread resembles the Houston 500. Everyone warms up reading the previous post so they can finally get their chance to hate on Steve. All those guys were probably sad pr0n addicts who couldn't get a girl so they decide to stand in line to bang one for free. I bet you guys would hate to be compared with those, so let this end now please.
