the US gov will give green cards to 3rd world contry citizens way quicker than to canadians if you arent a doctor or have a very specialized job...my dealings with the immigration department were always nightmares.The woman there though montreal was near vancouver!!!

esp when your strung-out carload gets told to pull over and wait in the emmigration office to be stripsearched and you have 4 pills in your coat pocket.

thankfully they let us go after 2 hours...and didn't even search us or our car.

I was so tempted to bring back pills from Poland and sell'em in Canada...good thing I'm not that stupid to take such a risk...even though the profit would've been ridiculous. damn drug-smuggling
