I dont know if it was mentioned but did anyone see the supposed baby seal clubbing by seal pochers. It was made years ago probably early 90's. Peta blew up about it, only for it to be leaked that actually peta made teh video and killed the seal just to promote the campaign against seal hunters in Canada.

Actually my freshman year in college I took an environmental relations and perspectives class and we looked into the issue of seal hunting specifically in Canada and both sides to the story, being that of the Animal rights activist and those of the actual hunters and them having to provide for their families. It really was a great class showing that there really is a balance and extreme's of either situation are not good. Example over population causes exhaustion of resources such as we discussed with this specific town in Canada, and too much hunting caused environmental shifts though providing for the families extremly well. They had to find a balance to hunt but not overkill while being able to hunt enough to provide for thier families and allow for regrowth for the next year. I haven't seen the video b/c it wont open but always try to look at the issue from all sides.
