eh... DJ Icey's not bad. I like his general style, but personally, i think he's a bit over rated.

but there are no doubts that i'm gonna be there for his performance

The trance barely lets house through. its a picky bitch.

i think it put its foot down on anything else.

Trance is a demanding mistress eh?
Would you like me to pay her a visit and explain to her you're not cheating? and that you and breaks are 'just friends'?

but seriously bro, just give it a try. 'I bet you cant just have one!'

embrace all EDM, there are so many great things out there... you'll only be missing out if you limit yourself to specific genres and styles.

its not from limiting myself. i hear my fill of them at other times. i just dont enjoy listening or dancing to jungle, dnb and breaks.

every wednesday i hear breaks along side trance at monsoons... my friend Marty McFly djs breaks.

it just isn't something i love or overly groove to. not me.

good for yall though, i know how much superstar alex is taken w/ it.

but you have to try at least. breakbeat is the most danceable music known to men, or as my friend says "breaks is dancers music". precision of them moves is just incredible, some people can do shit that fucks with your brain and the HOTTEST girls in the scene are b-girls (imo).

and im not saying all this cause i love breaks (i really do), i really think thats the truth.

come and check out freq nasty, he will fuck with your head, hurt your legs and send you home thinking "what the fuck just happened, why am i still smiling like crazy, why am i limping, armin van who????" (no dissrespect to avb, he is the king, but freq nasty is in the league of his own)

cheers.

p.s. im not trying to say that breaks are better than trance, im just giving y'all my honest opinion.

Quoted for the muthafuckin truth.

For all the talk of of let's say Nada's (purely as an exampe, no beef against her) awesome dancing, from what I've seen Breakbeat dancers do, they could wipe the floor with her ass 3 times over.

Breaks is the only type of music I know of, where seeing how people dance is just as hypnotising as the music itself.

Posted by preppie chick on Mar-07-2006 04:09:

thanks guys!

thanks to Alex I'm checking out them breaks and some of these sets are really fun!

for real

breaks = break dancing
break dancing = the best form of dance period.

much like how Turntablism = the best form of DJing.

i think everyone on the planet wants to go out and learn how to break dance after watching a music video like Clash of the Titans
(plus its a sick track )

^ Prime example.

although thats DnB in the background...

Posted by Cosmic Fur on Mar-07-2006 04:14:

Yes, and that Skinny Puppy video as well, can't remember its name, bu the video dealt with these group of like 'clash of the titans'-type asians, who come across some goths, and challenge them to a breakdance duel ,and get their ass kicked by the goths. sick video.

Okay, fuck it, i'm going on limewire and downloading that shit.
