I'm actually Batman IRL.. rly!

I don't think your IRL persona is a proper representation of someone.. it misses a lot of major aspects of communication. However, I wouldn't say someone's IRL personality is a complete represenation of them either.

You never truly know a person, But both IRL and the internet give you some insight into them.

I clearly admit I'm quite different IRL than in the internet. I say a lot of harsh shit I wouldn't say to a person that would be standing in front of me. Although both my personalities are very boring in a coherent way.

But hey that's my problem, it's not really any of your business. Considering the place I live, I'm probably not gonna meet any of you ever. So, apart from comments that some people might take personally, there are infact no consequences. Why would you care?

I act a bit closer to my "real" personality in my local scene boards..

I'm so perplexed! I really dig both of you ladies and the cattiness I see here between you bothers me. The really funny thing is that I think if each of you actually knew more of the other then what you present in this fourm you'd likely get along quite well. Unfortunately, both of you are now fixated on besting the other's barbs and trying to get under the others skin... which is childish and representative of unrefined social skills (being as diplomatic as I can here). What confuses me is that this sort of behaviour isn't really reprsentative of the two young women I know, which leads me to believe that maybe I'm completly misguided about the both of you.

Milano rocks the house. So does the city. I used to live near Sausalito. And used to spend summers on Nantucket.

I've totally got the Pepperidge Farm cookie tour down.

I'm pretty much the same "IRL" so far as I can tell. The only thing that differs when I communicate online is that I can seem pretty cold and boring, but TA has the convenient emoticons that help work against that.

Sometimes people are unconsciously different in temperament online versus in person, which you can't really fault them for. But when someone purposely acts different online than in person because it allows them to talk or act in ways that they wouldn't normally, that just pisses me off. It means they're not sure of who they are.
