dj sammy tried to rape my mother and hes a very bad man. And his music is the cheesiest garbage that i have ever heard. He makes Ian Van Dahl look like the trance producer of the year.

As well rumors are circulating in Dj Sammys involvement in 3 Zoo animal rapings.

Guy, you can't be serious. If Paul Van Dyk didn't lay down the path for the likes of DJ Sammy & his ilk, they would still be playing with Fruity Loops in their bedrooms. Paul Van Dyk is a legend, his productions are astounding (For An Angel, Words, Another Way, Seven Ways, etc), his live performnces are breathtaking, & he is light years ahead of DJ Sammy, cheesemaster extrodanaire. Next thing we know, Sammy will probably be cutting up Atomic Kitten! PVD is tops, nuff said!

lol...i used to like dj sammy a bit when i was younger but now i don't listen to any of his work. as for paul van dyk, well i listen to some of it but he's not my favorite.

it's a subjective term in this case.

You have to understand that we're member of the "underground" scene. It's pretty much part of our culture to loathe people who go "commercial". notice i used quotation marks.

The reasoning behind this is, that we see people who go too "mainstream" as selling out our music. If artists all went and appealed to the masses for the sake of money, the music would not be to our taste, and wouldn't be something we could still call "trance", or "house", etc.

WE're passionate about our music. So much so, that we no longer adhere to pop tastes. If your not really into any particular musical form, then u may as well go listen to MTV, and do what MTv and the charts tell you. But if you've really found something you love, u'll ignore that shit, and chase what you love instead. This is where there is a bond in TAs, the endless pursuit for the same passion.
