True!

Posted by burtonlinx on Apr-06-2006 22:18:

so tenaglia is confirmed too?

sorry I had a hard time translating the above...

Posted by burtonlinx on Apr-07-2006 18:28:

how long does it take to get to Spaarnwoude from the amsterdam airport?

Posted by eieregooie on Apr-07-2006 18:55:

You take the train to Amsterdam Sloterdijk, which is a couple of minutes I guess... then you take the DV pendelbusses, which take about 25 mins... then you have to walk around the DV site, which takes another 20 minutes or so...

I am definitely hyped for all the techno my weekend at DV is going to consist of this year

GLOBAL
Carl Cox
Cristian Varela
Michel de Hey
Monika Kruse
Jack de Marseille
Trevor Rockcliffe
DJ Hal

I couldn't be happier seeing Varela's name on this list

Mooi zo, dan is de keuze helemaal eenvoudig gemaakt. Best it is.

are you serious?
Tenaglia's marathon sets are insanity. Longest I managed to hold out for his set was 12 hours. He continued to play for an additional 5 or 6 after I left the club.

Posted by @win on Apr-24-2006 09:56:

Het heeft ook eeuwen geduurd om hem hier te laten draaien, dus de kans dat hij hier nog een keer komt draaien is klein en als hij nog komt dan gaat daar vast nog een paar jaar overheen. Maar goed wie weet...

couple of quick questions, was last year a sell-out in the end? I remember a couple of the tents being busy but for example ferry on the main stage was quite quiet altho the weather may have had something to do with it!

Also, how much do you guys reckon Extrema and Love Parade will affect attendance this year. Those of you that went last year are you planning to attend this year?

Posted by eieregooie on May-08-2006 16:38:

I dont think itll sell out... A lot of ppl that went last year are going to Extrema and the Love Parade...

And if it does sell out, it will be in the last week or so, depending on the weather.

not hugely worried bout it selling out as will get tickets early just dont want to go if it looks like it could be a bit of a flop! I dont know how the scene works so much in Europe but i know if the two big summer festival in the UK (Global Gathering and Creamfields) were held on the same day both would be noticebly quieter.

Same thing might happen here.. DV, LP and Extrema on the same day.. I think it's just a bit too much.

Well, sometimes less is more... I don't really mind if it's less crowded. DV will still be fine with 10.000 ppl less...

Only time will tell I guess...

yeah i guess, would just love to see the main stage all full as some of the pictures i have seen, it was like that at PvD last year but wanna see it in the day. i imagine many people wait to make their decision depending on the weather so if it looks hot and sunny (which im praying for) might get more people there.

Posted by eieregooie on May-08-2006 19:14:

It's never that crowded during the day... Last year during Deep Dish I was about halfway (front to back) the mainstage area and ppl were sitting and lying in the grass there, and other ppl dancing in between... I don't think I'd like to see it loaded the whole day, but that's personal ofcourse I you want a massive crowd you should go to the Love Parade

lol, not that massive thank you. I reckon i'll still go, had such a good time better than any clubbing experience ive had in the UK and ive been lucky enough to have gone to alot of events.

Do we reckon Armin will have last set on the main stage?
